I booked this hotel because it was one of the cheapest hotels centrally located in Verona. It's about 10 minutes walk to the Arena, and 20 minutes to the train station. It's 1 star, so I didn't expect too much, but the room was recently refurbished and clean. My main concern upon arriving was to learn there is no safe... More

In an expensive city like Verona, this place offers a relatively cheap accommodation 10 minutes walk from the Arena. .It's 1-Star place though. Old but clean, and everything works. Parking is cumbersome, since the receptionist has to take you to a nearby parking and the same when you want your car back. Plan an extra 15 min for this exercise. All... More

Given some of the previous reviews, I expected this place to be meh...but after staying here and comparing it some of our other accomidations, this is a really good value! The room was pretty good size and clean! The elevator works well, the AC did a decent job of cooling off our room, and the location was fabulous. Would stay... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and were disappointed with everything but the location. The bathroom had black mold on the ceiling and grout, the toilet would only flush intermitenttly, the bed was a rock, the pillows were extremely thin and only one per person, even when we requested extra. The furnishings were spartan, with a small table,... More

The place is not new, even old. It has no big sign. But we loved it...I's near to the center, and everything is clean and most of all, the people at the desk are most friendly and welcoming, ready to give all advice and help ( apart from the Indian man who refused us a map ). i like this... More

I waited more than 10 minutes (with the receptionist) for hot water to come. Heating is with air conditioning units and maybe you are lucky to work. I did not have! The same receptionist tried to make it work. After more than 15 minutes he managed to make it to ventilate the air. Until morning in the room were not... More

The Hotel is well located from most of the attractions. Only think don't think of walking if you have luggage, better to take a transport. Bus stop is just outside the hotel. Its not a luxury place, but rooms are basic and decent, nothing fancy. Good for a short stay as we payed euro 55 for a night which was... More

The main reason we booked this hotel was its proximity to the arena and opera. For what was provided, the cost seemed high. The room was very basic though functional; the lift was too small to take luggage and two of us together; breakfast was bland and we were charged 15 euros to park in the hotel courtyard. Previously, it... More

Despite the pretty dodgy decor (brown(?) fibreglass curtains), the hotel was ok. Very near the historic center, the rooms were satisactory after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was not thrilling, but I guess most Italinas don't eat much for breakfast...

On the first (and consequently only) morning of my stay, I found a bedbug crawling on the wall of my room. The staff did not seem all that concerned, saying this was the first time this had happened. Despite many requests for someone to check the situation in my room, nobody came to look. Needless to say, I left and... More
