1. Location: perfect spot! 5 min. walk till piazza San Marco, 10 min till Rialto. If you open the window at 9 o'clock, you can hear loud bells of campanile San Marco. It's better to get to the hotel from S. Marco Giardinetti vaporetto stop (if you going from Rialto, there are more bridges with stairs to cross). May be... More

We booked this hotel in advance and got a very reasonable price of 40 Euros per night, which was excellent value given that we'd been warned about how expensive Venice can be. We were given a beautifully spacious room with huge windows and shutters and a pristine bathroom complete with a spa bath. Having read several reviews on this site... More

Great location clean but it's just a place to sleep in not much help from the hotel staff we stayed here for three days and when they cleaned our room they forgot to give us towels. Was asking for towels the night we came back from hotel but one hotel staff told us it's not his Job to replace towels... More

Booked this about 8 weeks out because everything else was full, and clearly lucked out. The room is spacious and spotless - fantastic bathroom and shower. About 5 minutes walk to St Mark's square, and walkable everywhere else. We only saw the host twice - once when he brusquely asked for our passports, and then when he chased us down... More

Lovely clean comfortable rooms, centrally located for easy access to all main attractions. It was difficult to find as the main entrance to the hotel is a single door at the rear of the property through an archway. Before you arrive, we suggest you use a map to locate the restaurant "Ca La Bricola" first (it's on the ground floor... More

We arrive at the hotel after over 20 minutes of finding ways to get through the alleys of venice. The hotel's outside apperance looks dirty and old. But the inside of the hotel was shocking elegant. And the room were really good too. The owner was really kind to us, they even prepare breakfast for us. So keep up the... More

We arrived in Venice very late in the evening, it was raining, and we have to spent almost half an hour to find this hotel from Piazza San Marco. The entrance is not very obvious. The easiest way is to look for La Bricola restaurant, and then go round to its back door. We were shivering due to the rain... More

Just stayed at La Bricola. Would certainly recommend this hotel and would stay again. The room was a little small but eleganty decorated and very clean (we had room 1). The bathroom was modern and well presented. The owner, although not English speaking (and us not Italian speaking), was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent also. The location... Nice small hotel, just a few streets from Piazza San Marco. Surprisingly calm during the nights we stayed (mid August), simple, nice room, modern bathroom, good breakfast, nice service...and reasonable price ( which is great in Venice!!!).

Ok as i have read the reviews before, i still had hard time find the entrance to this place! The real official entrance is behind the restaurant in the yard. But of course you can ask a guy in the restaurant to show you. The place is fine, room is fairly small but Venice standard, you will have hard time... More
