Upon arriving in Venice today we got to our hotel only to be told by the cafe owners next door that the owners of the hotel have been evicted. There is a sign on the door that we had somebody translate for us that states they have been evicted also. We went back on to our booking agent website and... More

We booked a three-night short stay and enjoyed every minute. Venice is simply beautiful and the hotel is well-placed for all the places we wanted to see/visit, even if finding it on arrival was a bit of a mission (Google directions were not very helpful). Our room (Mirror) was well appointed, comfortable and quiet. The service was good, especially in... More

Had a great stay . Highlighting the location and spacious bathroom . The breakfast room is a work of art . The only negative detail was the manager having indicated a full stair way to the vaporetto station knowing we were with two heavy bags to carry. I suggest following the directions from the hotel's site to get there .

I stayed here with my mother for three nights. The hotel is a jem and is situated in a quiet square that is close to all the main attractions (about 2 minutes to Rialto and 10 minutes to St Marks). The rooms are fabulous and clean and the breakfast is really nice. The staff are extremely helpful and couldn't do... More

This hotel has a brilliant location, a 2 minute walk from the nearest Vaporetto stop Rialto Mercato. The service was impeccable and in such an expensive city as Venice this really is an affordable diamond. The breakfast was tasty and there were plenty of options. It's set in a quiet square so there aren't any noisy neighbours and it's a... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights recently ......whilst the hotel does not have a large sign outside, it was easy to find after getting off at the Rialto Mercato Vaporetto stop - a 5 minute walk, and good directions from the hotel website. We had the room right next to reception, but were not disturbed in the least.....clean... More

I booked a 3 night stay in Venice through Lastminute.com with Il Nido di Giulietta e Romeo as the hotel. I will start at the begining, arrival, some reviews below have stated it was hard to find and while I didnt have big issue with finding it I can see what they mean. The hotel has no big sign on... If you have never been to Venice, this hotel is hard to find. Definitely have a map and a plan to get to hotel upon your arrival. Once you get your bearings, it's easier to get around and is centrally located. Rooms were clean, and shower was excellent. Bed was a little hard and pillows were flat. Breakfast was included... We ended up ay this hotel by accident but have no regrets. We were in one of the rooms with a Jacuzzi (Soft) and it was a fine room. Small issues of broken toilet seat (lose hinges) were only complaint, and a basic breakfast that was adequate whilst filling. We had to ask for coffee or tea which was a... More

Great hotel, great location, amazing room (we stayed in 'Class'), lovely staff and lovely breakfast! Cant understand why it would have bad reviews! The wifi didn't work one day, but that's not what we were on holiday for!!!
