I booked a 3 night stay in Venice through Lastminute.com with Il Nido di Giulietta e Romeo as the hotel. I will start at the begining, arrival, some reviews below have stated it was hard to find and while I didnt have big issue with finding it I can see what they mean. The hotel has no big sign on... If you have never been to Venice, this hotel is hard to find. Definitely have a map and a plan to get to hotel upon your arrival. Once you get your bearings, it's easier to get around and is centrally located. Rooms were clean, and shower was excellent. Bed was a little hard and pillows were flat. Breakfast was included... We ended up ay this hotel by accident but have no regrets. We were in one of the rooms with a Jacuzzi (Soft) and it was a fine room. Small issues of broken toilet seat (lose hinges) were only complaint, and a basic breakfast that was adequate whilst filling. We had to ask for coffee or tea which was a... More

Great hotel, great location, amazing room (we stayed in 'Class'), lovely staff and lovely breakfast! Cant understand why it would have bad reviews! The wifi didn't work one day, but that's not what we were on holiday for!!!

When my wife and I arrived on our first ever night in Italy, our anniversary, our safe didn't work, we where told someone would come to fix it and later found out it was broken for a long time and could not be fixed. Next day they brought us a safe from another room. Wifi in room didn't work(2other couples... More

The hotel is located in the center of the city and its easy to find it. The service is great. My parents enjoyed staying in your hotel. Thank you for making my parents anniversary very special. I will surely recommend your hotel to my friends. PS thanks for the wine.

We only stayed for three nights, enjoy it a lot. The hotel itself is gorgeous. Room – amazing with Jacuzzi. Perfect location, close to Rialto Bridge, the market and San Marco square. The staff - helpful and nice.

The hotel is cozy and lovely! It is located just behind the fish market of Rialto, one of the most charming places of the city. We staied there at the end of last year and now that we return to Venice, we certainly will book this hotel without any doubt. Andrea at the reception, he was really a great host... More

We had forgotten what a nightmare it is negotiating around the magnificent city of Venice. Alleys and canals (for the most part) are not marked and bear no names so locality is driven by District first (San Marco, San Paolo etc) and then by building numbers so getting to the hotel is not easy. This is no fault of the... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay, After having struggled to find the hotel at first(google's fault) we found the hotel and Venice brilliant, The staff all spoke perfect English and breakfast in the mornings was always very good, special mention to the member of staff who served the breakfast for his excellent customer service which made...
