Unique hotel, great staff, perfect location. Kind of hard to find- make sure you follow map from hotel - it is in a courtyard! Can not find hotel from outside of courtyard that it is in. Once you find it though, very easy to find again after you go in and out of hotel. Venice is a unique city with... More

We stayed just for 2 days in this charming hotel. This was a real pleasure. Of coarse Venice as a fairytale but the confort and the place where you sleep is basic. First of all the breakfats was delisious, huge varuaty of sweet and salty homemade pastry, cookies and sandwiches. Secod the room, comfortable, clean and very calm. We took the... More

Venice was the last destination during our trip to Italy and staying at this hotel was definitely the perfect icing on the cake :) Locating this place was a bit difficult at the start. But when we called the hotel, they immediately sent their staff to receive us and it was a smooth stay thereon. The check-in was quick and we were... Had a wonderful stay in Venice at Al Codega. Very well located. Friendly staff. Walking distance to all the attractions. Quiet side street within walking distance to very good restaurants too. Just wish their bar selection would be better. What hotel doesn't keep Champagne or sparkling/ Prosecon tin their bar.

Ok, so it's true that Hotel Al Codega is not right in the thick of Piazza S. Marco, but from our perspective that is actually a good thing. Venice is a small city and being in a super quiet neighbourhood, only a five-minute (max) stroll from the core, was perfect. Our room was small but perfectly adequate. The breakfast was... More

Nicely decorated, pristinely clean, conveniently located with easy access to both Rialto and San Marco areas and vaporetto stops. Since nothing in Venice is easy to find, I don't think Al Codega is exceptionally difficult! Breakfasts were fabulous. Best of all is the staff, who were uniformly pleasant and helpful with any and all requests.

We stayed four nights at Al Codega and enjoyed every minute. Even in March, Venice can get a little tiresome with the narrow streets and constant bustle. Returning to the hotel through the little tunnel always gave us a break from the Venetian buzz. The courtyard is super quiet and makes for a rejuvenating experience (so you can go back... More

This little hotel is tucked away (isn't everything in Venice?) and a bit hard to find the first time. BUT - it's more than worth it. Our room was just great. The staff was wonderful. They even made a great recommendation for a walking tour of the city that was a true highlight of our visit. Breakfast was excellent, too!

this hotel is situated in a courtyard that you seriously need expert map skills to find. situated in the san marco area of venice very close to all tourist attractions and decent restaurants. the staff are all very friendly and willing to help in any way, the daily breakfast is a feast fit for a king and the bedroom (which... Hidden in an interior square Al Codega is a lively peaceful spot in the hustle and bustle between San Marco and the Rialto. The breakfasts are excellent, a combination of cicheti, pastries , cheese and cold meats. We stayed in 410, which is on the top floor and has a view out over the rooftops. It's also worth noting that... More
