We spent 4 wonderful nights in this lovely hotel. Great rooms & breakfast buffet with friendly heplful staff @ desk & @ breakfast. Would highly recomend & stay there again in a heartbeat. Excellent location @ centre of Venice but sure didn't feel like you were. more

After all the warnings about the difficulty of finding Al Codega, it turned out to not to be a real issue. Yes, the entrance is located in a courtyard not found on most maps, but the windows overlook the street "Goldoni" which is a major pathway from the Piazza San Marco to Rialto Bridge, with a lot of foot traffic.... more

The hotel is located in an ideal location - 5 minutes to St Marks Square in one direction and 5 minutes to Ponte di Rialto. The staff are helpful and well informed. The rooms are beautiful and breakfast is good. Quiet and clean. This will be the place we stay in all future visits. more

This hotel is in an ideal location for all the Venice main sites, 3 minutes walk from St Mark's square and 5 minutes from the Rialto bridge. The water bus from the airport stops at the Rialto which makes getting to the hotel easy. The exterior of the building is old but the inside appears to be almost brand new.... more

We stayed at Al Codega from the 21st Dec for 2 nights - the hotel was clean and well kept - the staff were wonderful; very courteous and nothing was too much trouble! Location is brilliant, in the heart of St. Marks square and Riolato Bridge. Chose this hotel after considerable research, with location and price in mind! Have to agree it was tricky to locate, but was extremely happy with the stay, with all the shops near by. Service was excellent, and satisfied with the breakfast. Staff were very friendly.
