In March, I booked Residenza Al Doge Beato online with my credit card for a 2 night stay in June. Last week, I e-mailed the hotel asking for advice for getting a water taxi in from the hotel. I received a response from the hotel the following day advising me that my booking had been cancelled because the credit card... More

Stayed in Junior Suite with an amazing canal view from the comfort of the bed. Clean spacious room with high ceilings and big bed and breakfast was brought on the dot every morning. Lovely big windows to sit at and absorb the life below on the street. Friendly, informative owner, our stay was very laid back and check-in/out was very... More

Stayed for 1 night only and found it disappointing and that it didn't live up to the other reviews. The room was large but very basic and not all like the the description "Venetian style". Position is good, nice area and within walking distance of Piazzale Roma for train and bus connections.

Totally recommended!! We stayed in room 103, Junior Suite with Canal View. The room was as it is in the pictures, and even better!! The decoration is totally Venezian, you will feel like in an old palace form the very first moment: high ceilings, huge room, amazing curtains, nice parquet floor, persian carpet... (I totally felt like a princess from... More

We finished off our Lake Garda trip by staying here for one night before flying home.. we wished it was more :0) the room was absolutely beautiful, with a fantastic view of the canal.it was very clean and comfortable. it was a little hard to find but then i should imagine thats the case with most hotels in Venice. the... Top: location, neighborhood and kind personal. It's more old style than design. But too priced for small services and breakfast just shameless (coffee ok but I mean coffee is ok everywhere in Italy!). Room is clean, but the shower. And check out is at 10:30, quite early, even on Sundays.

Recently returned from our stay at the Residenza Al Doge Beato in Venice. It was a terrific quiet place, nice size room with a beautiful canal view. Nicolas was there to greet us and he is amazing too. The residence is steps from the Campo which is fantastic! It has many cafes to choose from and a wonderful vibe watching... More

We stayed in the Jr suite at Al Doge Beato. It is a fabulous room large and airy with high ceilings and a beautiful canal view. The room was super clean and very quiet even though the B&B is located on a busy street. The location is one of the great things about the hotel. There are shops and restaurants... More

My wife and I recently stayed at Residenza Al Doge Beato as part of our honeymoon. It is a little guest house that has a lot of character, in a great location. The rooms are a good size, the bed is comfortable, it's clean and the staff are very friendly. I also sent an email to the owner beforehand asking... More

We had a four night stay here. Location is quiet and overlooks a canal. Rooms are of a reasonable size. Bathroom large compared to most in Italy. Breakfast disappointing. Coffee and croissant which we have to chase up each morning. First morning they completely forgot. This is served in the room. Tiny balcony. About 20 minute walk to Rialto bridge... More
