Great central location. Clean, bright room. Large clean bathroom. Lovely breakfast. Best of all - the hospitality of Valentina who runs the hotel - great service - she made us feel really at home. This hotel is perfect if you only have a few days in Venice due to its super location. If you plan on being out and about... More

We stayed at Casa Petrarca in the beginning of our trip and honestly, without Patrizia, our time in Venice would not have been as amazing as it was. She simply went completely above and beyond in order to make us feel at home, send us to wonderful restaurants, and make suggestions for what to try when having dinner and drinks.... More

Visited for 3 nights, July 16-19, with husband and daughter. Pros: Excellent location between Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge area; good value price-wise for this popular area; owners emailed a map and directions so unlike others we had no problem finding it; had a decent room with a private bathroom; they serve breakfast. Cons: The biggest con was... More

A nice B&B that is perfectly located in Venice half-way between San Marco square and Rialto bridge. Although a little bit challenging to find due to the manner that Venice is designed, its well worth booking here as the you don`t have to drag your suitcases across any bridges if you take the water-bus from the Airport to Rialto bridge... This is a quite, unpretentious B & B in a great location, very close to everything you might need or want to see. It's a bit difficult to find, as are many things in the narrow "streets" of Venice. The owners were very nice and welcoming, the rooms simple but clean. We had a room with shared bath but that... More

The title of my review says it all. Venice, along with the main cities of Italy as a whole, is overpriced. I paid EUR 380 for 3 nights for a small double room with its own bathroom, and this was the special advance prepaid and non-refundable rate. I have been able to stay in 4-star hotels in Vienna (Mercure) and... More

Came here with my boyfriend for two nights and was absolutely surprised at the value for money and high quality room. Perfect location - right in the middle of everything. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in venice

We had two nights with Valentina at the Casa Petrarca. The location on a canal was beautiful. The house in 3 minutes from San Marco and 4 minutes the Rialto. It was perfect. We loved our stay. Valentina recommended some lovely restaurants and was always welcoming to us. We would thoroughly recommend this place, Marnie and Ed Venturini

We spent 4 nights at Casa Petrarca and the experience added immeasurably to our stay in Venice. First, the location is within 5 minutes of either the Rialto Bridge or St. Mark's Square, both quintessential Venetian sights, and within easy walking distance to many of Venice's neighborhoods. The trip from the train station was fast, with hotel-provided great directions, easy... More

We stayed here for three nights and had a lovely time. This small hotel is hidden in one of Venice romantic little street. Our room was simple with a bed and a sink in the room. We had our bathroom a little bit further away from our room and we were sharing it with another couple. They are room with... More
