Very quaint hotel with decent sized rooms for Venice close to St. Marco but on the side street so it is very quiet. This hotel is close to the S. Giglio vaporetto stop and easy to reach. The room had high ceiling and the washroom was decent in size. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.

Myself and my partner only stayed at this hotel for two nights in November. The location is ideal, a ten minute walk from the jetty and the water taxi, and St mark's square is right around the corner. On arrival we found the room to be clean but a bit shabby. The paint was peeling off the wall in the... More

The Dei Dragomanni is a little difficult to find. Check some of the online travel blogs. We found great directions that helped us navigate from the ferry stop @ St. Mark's Square. Academia stop may be a little closer or at least equi-distant. I would say the hotel had large rooms - by European standards. The private bath was also... More

Surprised my fiancé with a trip to Venice, booking the Dei Dragomanni at the same time. Good, helpful service from start to finish. Slept like a log and definitely recommend staying here as well located near St Marks.

Stayed 2 nights and did not regret at all. Though the hotel is not within a stone's throw from St Mark Square, it is only 15mins walk away. Surprisingly, there is no touristy crowd and it feels truly like venice as it should be. Was given 2 connecting room for my family and the kids loved it. I guess the... More

Well what can i say. The hotel is ok for the money giving its location. Our room was clean and tidy but a little rough around the edges. Paintwork peeling, light hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom, Wifi temporary working then not etc. A little tlc and it would of been perfect. As i mentioned the location is excellent.... More

This hotel was lovely. We really liked the decor and location. First it's just a few hundred meters from a water bus stop. If you've never been to Venice then you won't understand how great this is. You cannot walk in a straight line further than 150-200 meters anywhere in the city. So when you look at your tourist map... More

The hotel has a great location, spacious rooms, beautifully decorated and a friendly staff. Breakfast was continental and wifi was so so but my phone worked there, luckily :) There are slight cosmetic things that need to be touched up and the pillows are harder than I'm used to but besides that it was perfect!

My wife and I spent three wonderful nights in the well-located hotel while catching up with our adult daughters during their European adventure. The staff were helpful and professional, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts each day were a highlight! While the proximity to San Marco is the big selling point, we only visited the square once... More

We have just returned from our stay for two nights in Venice. This was our first trip to Venice do we didn't know what to expect. I had read about expensive transport to hotels so (reluctantly) we booked a return trip on the public transport (Orange route) which cost €27 each. The walk to the dock takes about 7 minutes...
