The Hilton had large rooms (we stayed in the family suite which was pricey but had more than enough room for 4 and privacy for Mom and Dad), nice facilities and a helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and much needed for the kids (Italians aren't big on breakfasts). The gym was solid by European standards but just okay... More

Located in Giudecca Island this hotel combines luxury and comfort. The family suite is spacious and comfortable. The gym is small but is fitted with treadmills for those who like to exercise. The breakfast has a wide choice and a special menu "health". Also offer a boat shuttle to Venice. All employees are very friendly and pleasant. Good restaurants and a... More

Shuttle service was helpful. staff is decent and courteous some rooms have no view... though rooms are nice and decent size with biggish bathrooms. Big lobby and feel of a big 5 star hotel in a metro. Rooftop was fun

Although we only stayed one night at this hotel, it made quite a lasting impression on us. Everything from the hotel entrance to the check-in procedure to the rooms and dining was superb. I actually liked being away from the "main part" or Venice as it was a peaceful retreat from the crazy busy-ness of the summer peak tourist season.... More

Fabulous situation with regular boat service to shops and restaurants. I recommend booking a private speedboat from the airport to the hotel. A bit more expensive but so exhilarating. A boat trip to Murano is a must. The beautiful glass is amazing. You will not be able to resist buying something to take home. The Hilton Hotel has everything you... More

Staying in Giudecca

Neighborhood Profile
Giudecca
Giudecca is a retreat for Venetians away from the crowds. Symbolically, six metal teeth represent Venice’s six sestieri (districts); the seventh, Guidecca, points away from the others – part of Dorsoduro, but separated by the Giudecca Canal. Giudecca evolved from a center of shipyards and factories to a quiet residential area with a sprinkling of restaurants and bars. The majestic harmonious Redentore church stands as thanks for delivering Venice from the plague, hosting an annual heartfelt festival.
