My ipad and computer were stolen from luggage room in Belle Arti Hotel which is supposed to be under staff's control!!! Staff didn't show any interest in helping! I was told cameras don't work and police cannot come! Plus very weird, only my luggage was open and things stolen. Everyone's else luggage was not touched and this gives impression that... More

The staff at the BelleArti (which is who you are dealing with as there are no staff members for the Domus Cavanis) were incredibly rude, and in general disinterested in their jobs. We arrived and found our room to be incredibly hot and uncomfortable, despite being told all rooms were air conditioned. We were told a maintenance man would be... More

+ big room and bathroom for venice, clean, very quiet, super location, 100euro/night - agresive mosquitoes during the night(no windows nets or other measures), 5euros for wi-fi, not very friendly staff Try the small bar-restaurant just in front of entrance! Choose one outside table and listen the armonica player till late in the night.

The hotel is well located and is a reasonable value (80 Euros/night) for being right on the island with good access to the water buses and many restaurants. The room was clean and quiet. The bathrooms are small with NO place to put your things and the shower was like a showbox, too small to turn around in. My chief... More

A good budget choice for Venice. When checking in you go to Hotel Belle Arte which is across from Domus Cavanis because there is no active reception desk there. Breakfast is also served at the Belle Arte and it offers a good selection of breakfast goodies. There is no fancy sign on the door to the Domus, only a taped... More

We paid 140€/ night for a small room with no comfort. The location is OK . Most of the time, we are staying in Mestre, the hotels are better and much cheaper, you just need to take a train (10 min. Max). This time, we were attending a professional workshop and the organiser booked 20 rooms in this hotel. I... More

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. Due to the price compared to other residences in Venice, I was expecting a dive. The lobby has little to be desired and does feel abandoned but the room was clean, bathroom nice and bed comfy. The room had an interesting decoration and did look a little like a tart´s boudoir but that... More

The cheapest in Venice- good localization, clean, quiet. You can use WiFi for extra fee in the hotel just in front of Domus Cavanis. Room was clean but very average. Localization was perfect, near everything which is important to see in Venice.
