Acca Hotel is tucked away in an alley, quiet and quaint to allow six of us have a very nice rest after a long flight. Each of us have our individual double room with good privacy. We found the place without much difficulty with Daniele's thorough instruction. We had a good and nutritious breakfast in a very comfortable setting. The... More

I wanted to experience the real Venice, and we did the right choice! The hotel is very well positioned, the personnel very is kind and friendly, and the accomodation is simple, clean and nice. Price very convenient. Whenever I will return to Venice I will for sure go there again.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights....yes nights! First of all we didn't have trouble finding the hotel as we followed Daniel's thorough instructions but also asked shop/cafe owners on the way. I must admit I did think twice about booking the hotel as staff are not present from around 1-3pm onwards so I nearly changed... More

A well placed hotel that was easy to walk to from the train station. Great fun finding our way down the narrow streets. Room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. If you do choose to eat outside as we did then watch out for the pigeons! We were given a 10% voucher for the restaurant on the corner as... More

If i come to venice again i will stay in the same hotel, the staff is very friendly and hospital, you feel like it is your second home in venice, the breakfast is GREAT. Not the most spacious room, but very clean and cozy, the hospitality will make you forget the negatives. It is nearly the center of venice so... More

Just got back from Venice; myself and my wife stayed 3 nights at the Acca Hotel. Rooms are cozy but acceptable for Venice standards. Cleaning room is not accurate and the general quality of the room is in line with 1 star hotels. Towels were insufficient so that we were forced to ask every day to have towels big enough... More

We didn't have high expectations of the hotel as we'd booked on a budget but Acca Hotel more than exceeded these. The location was central and close to the vaparetto for all the sight seeing we wanted to do. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the continental breakfast (included in the price)... More

We are 3 family members who shared the suite at Acca Hotel 7-11 July. We were impressed by the spaciousness and comfort of the room and luxurious bathroom (2 wash basins and a bath with spa jets). We could hear the air conditioning unit/generator periodically working but it didn't keep us awake and there was hardly any noise from outside... More

Staying in San Polo

Neighborhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
