Acca Hotel was wonderful for our party of three for 2 nights. Wonderful location, peaceful and serene, however still very central and lots of bustling night life. Self service aspect of hotel a little confusing, however easy to get used to. Wonderful service at breakfast and when needing a little direction.

It's a one star hotel but it deserves more. You've just got to get used to the "self-service" aspect of the hotel but that's a plus in my opinion. Well located from the ferry stop and close to most sightseeing spots, it a definitively great choice for a stay. The staff add a plus to the package as they are... More

Acca Hotel is a nice and quiet place to stay in a small street at Campo San Polo. Almost in the center of the city. Less than 15 minutes walk from Piazzale Roma (bus station) and Ferrovia (railway station). About the samt to Piazza San Marco. Less than 5 minutes to Ponte Rialto (Rialto bridge). The staff is service minded... More

My friends and I (4 of us) had a good stay and rest at Acca Hotel. It feels less of a hotel and more of a large BnB. We shared one room which had just enough space for us to not trample on each other. The staff were friendly and helpful and there's a simple nice breakfast provided every morning.... More

My wife and I booked Acca Hotel for our stay is Venice for two nights. Firstly there was no one to welcome us upon our arrival - had to take our key from the postbox and find the room by our selves. Upon entering the hotel there is a smell that hits you - and its even worse when you... More

Very good breakfast. Helpful staff. We arrived after 5 pm and they left our key in an envelopment in the main entrance, so we could get easily the room. In many other "hotels" in Venice the front desk usually closes at 5pm (crazy!!) so be carefull. The hotel is very close to Rialto bridge , but bit difficult to find... More

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. We were really surprised by the check-in - we just take our keys and a letter with useful recommendations out of the mailbox :) The location is amazing, you will need 10-15 minutes to get to the touristic attractions; however, it is really quiet outside and not so crowdly! The room was nice... More

The Acca hotel is a good choice if you are wanting to be comfortable, and in a good location. If you are arriving into the bus station or train station and are on a budget, you can still easily make your way to the hotel on foot- only take the ferry (7 euro per person) if you have too much... My wife and I stayed there for two nights in Oct. 2014. Our room , the Junior Suite, was very adequate however we experienced a number of problems. When our room was straightened up the windows were opened resulting in mosquitoes that hounded us at night. The hygiene in the breakfast area is also suspect. No gloves are worn, food... More

The hotel Acca is located in the historical center of Venice, near the Rialto bridge . It is very easy to reach the center of the city, and the city’s Tourist attraction. The hotel is located in the quiet lane and has a beautiful, quite courtyard, where in the morning, it is a pleasure to have breakfast there. On the... More

Staying in San Polo

Neighborhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
