Ca’ Morosini is a guest room: that means that there is no 24h reception, but everything else is there: spacious room with a comfortable bed (We had booked an economy double room. On;y problem that we couldn’t control the heating and the room was quite hot), private clean bathroom with toiletries, wi-fi connection that worked almost perfectly. Rafaella (the owner)... More

A wonderful boutique hotel in a fantastic location. We are so glad that we decided to stay here and the price was good too (end of November). It was difficult to control the temperature (mostly too hot) but everything else was fine. The breakfast was simple but adequate to get us going in the morning (just juice, bread and conserves).

The room was large and bed comfortable. Clean Bathroom with toiletries. Free coffe/tea in the room and free good Wi-fi! The location is really perfect, from Ca'Morosini you can easily visit Venice by walk. Raffaella was helpful and friendly, she makes us feel welcomed and at home. She offered recommendations for things to local restaurants outside of tourist areas. I... More

To my full surprise finding hotel closing by 2:00 pm!! Hotel is without elevators, after 2:00 pm no body to contact with. I will not stress on that the breakfast is for one hour & not up to hotels standards!! True the room is clean, but safe box wasn't working & even wasn't fixed in the wear drop!!! TV only... More

This place is in a great location and within easy walking distance for Rialto Bridge, St Mark's Sq with good transport links close by. The hotel is situated in a nice square with good amenities. Compared to the majority of places in Venice - this hotel is value for money. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean, although only one... More

Great place for overnight feel of Venice. Good location, but a little hard to find. Next Toa nice square. Many places to eat near by. Hotel is really a bed/breakfast place with nice rooms and friendly staff.

Stayed here for 3 nights based on a recommendation from a couple different family members who had stayed here before. The B&B was on a nice little square and was centrally located so we could pretty much walk everywhere in Venice. It is a bit far from St. Marks, but after realizing how bad the traffic/tourists get in that area... More

This guesthouse is tucked away on a quiet Square. It has delightfully efficient Air conditioning on all three floors and has a beautiful decor. Breakfast is brought to you in your room and includes delicious Italian coffee. Instructions on locating it would have been helpful prior to the visit. It is easy 10 minute walking distance from San Marco Square.... More

The two best features about this hotel are the location and the balcony (we were on the top floor). To get there from the airport (Marco Polo) the best way by far is to take the water bus (the company is: Alilaguna). It s cheaper than a taxi, more efficient than the bus and it already puts you into context,... More

This is a very mixed review. We stayed here for three nights in June 2015. The location is terrific as other reviewers have said but the price of a water taxi-there's no other way except walk-is 60 plus euros. I was horrified with the standard double allocated, average double bed pushed against the wall and the room simply not big... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review We spent nice time with you and your husband! Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
