My husband and I had stayed at Casa Nicolo Priuli eight years ago on our first visit to Venice and loved it. We returned again this time for nostalgia sake. The hotel is very convenient to St. Marks and the vaporetto. The hotel is close to it all, but just removed from the hustle and bustle. The house is an... More

We stayed here in May 2014. We had a superior room with canal views. It is a very old and historic building, decorated well. We liked to leave the window open to hear the sounds of the canal and gondolas. There was an excellent continental style breakfast each morning. The hotel staff was very helpful.. They coordinated water taxis to... More

I do not know why this hotel is even open! The staff was never there, the rooms scarce, and the shower did not work. We asked for certain details which were ignored, and after the 3rd time of asking for wine, it came hot. This was supposed to be our 1 year anniversary, and the hotel ruined it. The only... More

My boyfriend treated me to a short stay in Venice for 3nights at this hotel. He paid approximately 190€ a night and we had a superior room. The decor is typical Venetian and has lots of character. We were very impressed with our room which was number 406. We had a view of the canal, minibar, large TV, modern bathroom.... More

This is an interesting place to stay, it's 5 mins from St Marks Square and you walk out onto a lovely shop lined canal (excellent ice cream shop opposite - apple ice cream - yum! and interesting artisan shops). Initially I was concerned having seen some reviews and the confusion over the 3 star and 5 star hotel of the... More

Very close to San Marco Z. Boat stop only one bridge in case you have heavy luggage. Breakfast was fantastic - meat, eggs, cereal, cheese, etc. Great gelato stand across canal. No elevator but there is a person who takes your luggage to your room so no issues. Steep staircase to room. If mobility is an issue should opt for... More

Room 301 (deluxe room with canal view). The room is huge and very cozy. Although the hotel it is located in a very nice "calle" the view froom the room was not exiting. It is located in the ground floor (we were not really happy of that) but it is not noisy at all but so we slept very well,... More

Booked a Junior suite with the Palazzo Priuli but when we arrived were told we were staying down the road in the Nicolo Priuli...hmmm. The Palazzo Priuli looked quite nice so we were very disappointed when walking into the Nicolo as it was very tired looking and seemed like it had been decorated cheaply as a temporary bodge job! We... More

This was our first trip to Venice, and we didn't know what to expect. We picked this hotel on the basis of a recommendation from a friend of a friend. We were absolutely delighted. The location is great; barely a five-minute walk from the airport waterbus dock. It was very close to all the major things to see in Venice.... More

Big, nicely decorated rooms, spacious bathroom, perfect location - close to everything but on a quiet street, flexible kind service and a very pleasent breakfast. Yes, it is expensive, but this is Venice, and compeared to other Venice hotels, this is great value for money.
