We were two adults and two teenagers spending two nights at Domus Ciliota in July 2014. We had booked two double rooms economy, which were very small but functional. We were a little bit surprised, though, that the rooms we got were situated on different floors. That was not a big problem, but still. The best thing with the place... More

We stayed at Domus Ciliota for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is great, very close to the Accademia vaporetto stop and right around the corner from Campo Santo Stefano, but in a quiet little back-street. It was also an easy walk to Piazza San Marco (just make sure you take a map, especially if you are... More

Excellent location yet very quite and comfortable at night, breakfast is very good They dont clean the room daily... and never change the towels and bed sheets at your stay, which is the only draw back of the hotel

It is very close to the Accademia Bridge, so there's no problem in taking the vaporetti everywhere. We arrived from the cruise ship, taking a private water taxi with our heavy luggage, to save the hassle. Getting off at San Vidal, then wheeling our luggage to the hotel, going through the San Stefano Square, took only 10 min., not too... More

Nice hotel - near S.Samuelle vaporetto stop. No bridges to cross - approx 5 min walk from stop. Quiet area - but close to most tourist spots. Good value and location. Would recommend as good choice - breakfast's nice in very pleasant surrounds.

The rooms are basic but clean and the beds are very comfortable. I was travelling with a friend and we were able to book a twin room - so many hotels offer only double/twin and you're not sure what you'll actually get. When we were there, the air con was a real boon as it was an unseasonal 33 degrees.... More

We stayed here for two nights at the end of May. We found the location to be very central. Rooms OK. Breakfast poor. The lady at reception at check-in was very rude and gave us incorrect information about water buses which could have resulted in us missing our flight. We placed an early morning call which we never received and... More

We selected this hotel for its location which is within walking distance of St. Marks square and all there is to discover in the city frozen in time. The rooms are basic but clean. The breakfast is routine. The ladies in the front desk are helpful with directions and there is also an elevator, which is really a rarity in... More

We had a room on the top floor, good views over the roofs. The daily rate was, we discovered, different for the three days we were there: first day 100, 2nd 130, third 140. But the total was what we had accepted so had no complaint. Their honesty was very much appreciated when we announced that one of our passports... More
