Many thanks for this wonderful hotel and for the staff! I was greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. I had requested a room (junior suite) and the staff offered me a second floor and very good one. My room had a view of a smaller canal (on the right side of my window) which was perfect as it was... This really is a brilliant hotel in a great city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with lovely amenities and the service impeccable, particularly Narcista who is a star. It is a bit of a walk from San Marco and the main tourist drag but ideal for piazzale Roma so very easy to get in and out of town when... More

The entrance to the hotel was very inviting as guests walk through a lovely courtyard to get to the hotel. My first impression was positive as I felt on an overwhelming sense of quiet and peacefulness as we entered the grounds. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. We had requested a room (junior suite) on an upper... More

The staff is very helpful & friendly - the rooms are "small"(I know this is Venice) the bed "hard" but the worse part the room was very noisy! You could hear people upstairs or at the front desk....The plus side, our room was very clean, hotel was close to bus/water transportation... I was surprised by the breakfast after reading some... What a treat! We had the opportunity to spend two nights here on our way through Europe and it was exactly what we hoped. The location was great and the room was just spoke of the old Venice with the original wood floors -even a slight slope in the floor- telling of the story of Venice; yet with all the... More

So,I as I sad in the title,I am not sure where to start while describing this hotel. But here are some pointers : 1)Price is way to big for what you are getting. For that price you can stay in a 5 star hotel in most cities in Europe, 2)Breakfast is terrible, they give you a basket with 2 croissants,2 bagels and 2... The hotel and location is wonderful! The rooms were clean and classically Venetian with a twist of modern. The garden in the back is lovely. However, the front desk attendant in the morning shift is quite unhelpful and sometimes a bit rude. The rest of the staff is wonderful. The beds are a little bit on the older side so... More

A fantastic hotel! It was easy to find in the perfect location - a short walk from the bus station and the train station and in a quiet, almost private courtyard. We were welcomed by professional and extremely helpful staff and were even able to view a variety of available rooms to choose which we would like to stay in... More

We chanced upon this hotel by a quirk of fate, and decided to stay. It has a great location on the Grand Canal, a great garden overlooking the canal where you can eat or just hang out, and some very good staff. The rooms were good and available early in the day, always a plus point with me. The front... More

LOVELY hotel in a FANTASTIC position. EXTREMELY professional staff -friendly and helpful. Second visit - both times rooms were great; well equipped, very clean with GREAT bathrooms. Breakfast served inside or in Rose Garden overlooking Grand Canal. Gorgeous coffee!! ( Cooked breakfast is available, but would recommend continental). Love Venice and will be returning in 2015!!!
