We arrived at the rail station and walked to the Hotel in approx 10 mins following the directions we had been e-mailed. The hotel is down a narrow street just off one of the main tourist routes. Got tot Ca San Rocco at lunch time, where we were given the room keys straight away. The room was a good size... More

This small family run hotel is very clean, the rooms are big and everything is well maintained. Breakfast on the terrace in summer was great. Central location to train/bus station. And as your in Venice everything is within walking distance. Just pack lightly as no elevator and spiral staircase may be a challenge if you do too much shopping. Great... More

Our stay in Ca San Rocco was great. We walked from the train station (20 minutes) with a map on hand. The place was very clean, room was big and the the AC worked very well in the hot summer days. Breakfast was good and it was serve in the terrace. One thing that I love about this place is... More

This is a great Hotel inside the old city of Venice, where you can walk to the Grand Canal discovering lots of little stores and restaurants along the way. The room was very clean and surprisingly big, with a nice ensuite, Breakfast is served on the hotel terrace\balcony such a really relaxing spot and a great start to the day.... More

Its a small hotel very close to the train station. Though it doesn't face the canal and it is in one of the lanes the hotel is very well located. The only disadvantage with the hotel is it doesn't have any elevator and the staircase is spiral so it gets difficult to move the luggage. The rooms are of decent... More

Book early if you and your family need a centrally located, clean, quality inn for a whirlwind layover in Venice. Walkable from the train station and you can hit all the highlights during a 2 day/ 1 night adventure if time is critical. Get good directions because the narrow alleys can be confusing to find but once you drop the... More

the directions from the bus station were excellent, even arriving in the dark waking the next morning to see venice , unforgettable. the breakfast terrace is on the first floor, and you can see behind some of those high walls and the green oases of the venetian gardens. breakfast was simple and plentiful. it's on a quiet lane, and less... Normally I don't take the time to review where I went on vacation, but, having using tripadvisor a few times and having benefitted from reading the reviews, I felt it was the least I could do and contribute to the forum: It was our first time in Venice (our 40th anniversary) so we decided to stay 5 nights (Sept 18... We stayed here for one night in Venice, and it was located fairly close to the train station, so we could easily walk here and drop off our bags and check in before heading down the Grand Canal. The hostess gave us directions right to the hotel, which were very easy to follow, and she was very pleasant. The room... More

My daughter and I spent 1 night in Venice and had a lovely stay at the quaint location. The room was lovely and actually had a full bath tub! It was about a 10 min walk to St Marc's square. The breakfast that was provided out on the terrace was delicious. They also were kind enough to store our luggage... More
