If you want to be near St. Marks, this is definitely not the place for you, but if you want some insulation from the overwhelming crowds of high season in Venice, it's a great location. Although a few steps from the Grand Canal, and not far from one of the main tourist walking routes through the city, Ca San Giorgio... More

Overall a great experience. The staff very helpful and welcoming. The room was great. The breakfast varied and plentiful. Free tea and coffee to make yourself a bonus. Downstairs rooms have access to cosy lounge area with library of travel books. Easy walk with luggage from train station. Directions given. Walking distance to all attractions. We would definitely stay here... More

fantastic service, very homey and extremely polite service. Good place to stay if youre in Venice for a couple nights- close to centre, walking distance from water taxi, and water bus. Beautiful room, clean, plus the free coffee+tea is a good bonus.

We stayed (again!) at this wonderful B&B after a first stay last year. We returned because it has a lot of positive points: the acceuil is extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are quiet, the service is excellent, the overall atmosphere is very very good.

Overall had a very pleasant stay here. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly during our stay and they helped answer any questions we had. Also recommended restaurants which were superb. The walk to the hotel is a little lengthy especially from the Rialto/San Marco (20 min walk) but also provided a very quiet night for sleep so in a... More

My wife and I decided to spend the last night of our 9 week European holiday in Venice. We had been to Venice several times, but never actually spent the night on the Island. We chose Ca' San Giorgio for its location within easy reach of the train station or Piazza Roma, with minimal bridges to negotiate with luggage. Of... More

We arrived to the hotel and they were ready for us with our two rooms in the lower floor. All was nice and clean. Thae girls there (I dont remeber the names) were very nice and help us with gondola, resturants and WiFi. Breakfast was nice. Dont walk from piaaza Roma to the Hotel if you are with more than... First of all: This is a nice and calmy located house for tourists, directly at Canale Grande. Everything was fine, but: Take care and beware of the ladies' pride. When we combined two of the small tables (for two persons) to enjoy our breakfast for three, we felt the anger of the staff who separated the tables again. No doubt:... More

We recently spent a week in the Junior Suite and were very pleased with the location, warm welcome, amazing service and amenities. The room was large enough to accommodate my husband, grown daughter and I comfortably. The days were hot and we were happy to have good A/C, a refrigerator in our room and a little grocery store nearby where... More

We spent some extremely pleasant days here at the end of May, and, now in late July, our memories are all good. It’s not the easiest of places to find, but the directions were very good. Indeed, the whole reservation/deposit process was excellently handled. Having flown in to Venice Airport, we took a bus to Piazza Roma, the transport hub... More
