Friendly helpful staff, clean, great value for money. Very handy for a range of restaurants, shops, bars. Close to Rialto and Ferovia for railway station. Not much of a walk to St Marks, Fondamente Nuove, Accademia and Piazzale Roma. We have stayed in Venice many times in various hotels in different locations. This is a great hotel for a 3... More

We very much enjoyed staying in this hotel. Owner Maurizio is very welcoming and clearly is very focused on you enjoying your stay. The hotel is located in a narrow street, just 3 minutes walking distance from the Rialto bridge. Even closer by is the Vaporetto boat stop Rialto Mercato, were route number 1 stops (and this line connects the... More

We stayed at Locanda Poste Vecie for a weekend minibreak in Venice. I have to say that in addition to being thoroughly charmed by Venice as a city, I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is nothing fancy and so if you're expecting tons of amenities, or all the extras that chain hotels offer, you might be disappointed.... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights at this B&B and we were very pleased. Mr. Maurizio who runs the place is very friendly and plenty of tips to get the best out of your staying in Venice. The location is excellent as it very close to the Rialto Bridge which is a short romantic walk away from S. Marco.... More

We were in this b&b during winter. The management offered us a free walking of St. Mark's Square. A lovely breakfast was served 8-10 am. The vaparetto runs close, so buy a 3 day or week ticket to save money and time. You'll still want to wander around the lovely streets.

Great location 2 minutes walk to Rialto bridge. A bit tricky to find but fine once you've been there! Great breakfast delivered to your room. Left our luggage on the last day which was very handy. We got a water taxi from the airport, then a water bus on the way back which was fine (if a bit crowded).

Easy to find and very close to the Rialto Bridge and really nice shopping. Maurizio was very helpful and kind. We especially appreciated his detailed directions to his hotel. The rooms were clean and it was nice having breakfast delivered to our room, though it was a very basic breakfast of bread/cereal/juice/coffee unless you wanted to pay extra for meats... More

My sister, my niece and I stayed there for just one night. Maurizi made us feel at home right from the beginning. He was really frindly and always trying to help. I would definitely recommend it! And hopefuly I will stay in Locanda Poste Vecie some day again.

My husband and I stayed one night on our way to Florence. We found it a little confusing to find the first time but as soon as we asked someone and were set on the right path we saw several signs that led us right to it. The room was huge for European standards. The room was clean and quiet,... More

when we first arrived in Venice, we have to walk about 15-20 minutes from the train station before we arrived at this hotel.. it wasn't an easy search for us.. might as well because of our lack of skill in orienteering but if you can read the map very well then I guess you can find the hotel in no...
