Valter is very helpful. There is good pizza at the "Anfora" just across the way, and other good places to eat nearby. The garden is a beautiful cool refuge in the afternoon. It's a 20 minute walk with suitcases from the train station or from the Bus to the airport, or just 5 minutes from the vaporetto stop.

Cozy and friendly; English-speaking staff. Only a basic breakfast (assorted bread); free Wi-Fi. Some of the rooms have a private bathroom. Use your GPS in pedestrian mode to find it (works great)! CASH ONLY (no credit cards), but there are plenty of ATMs in the vicinity (ask Walter for the nearest one).
