We booked a canal view room and was put in a large king size room our first night of our stay for some reason. It didn't have a view but the room was pleasant aside from a disturbing continuous odor we think was the sewer. We later learned that it is a common smell in Venice. We much preferred the... more

We started our trip in Italy with Venice and we weren't disappointed by this place. It was a bit tricky to find (like anything in Venice, really!) but was worth it. The breakfast was the best one we had among the 10 other places we tried in Italy. The room was large, very well maintained and had a nice view... more

It was a bit difficult to find but worth the effort. We had the double overlooking the canal and found everything quite satisfactory. We had no problems with the AC at all and while there were some prepackaged items with breakfast, the fresh items were quite enough for breakfast. Nicola and Nok were very gracious and helped with information on... more

My son and I enjoyed out stay here. The location was convenient . Even after we had located it, every place was a still bit challenging to find in Venice! The room was clean and spacious. We had an ensuite and the breakfast was ample. The hostess was friendly and helpful. Free wi fi a bonus. I would stay here... more

The only redeeming factor of this place was it's fairly close proximity to San Marco. I was actually counting how many more nights we would have to stay in this run-down, not so clean, and odorous room. more

Unfortunately, I would not stay here again. My friends and I stayed here for 2 nights without the A/C. Needless to say, it was terribly hot and humid each night. When we notified the owner of this so that she could fix this simple issue, she began yelling at us. She finally provided one couple with the remote to the... more

This place was a great find, the owners are friendly and welcoming (greeted us with a drink each when we arrived even though it was almost 11.30pm). Our (double) room overlooked the canal and it was lovely to watch the boats and gondola's gliding past. Unlike some other reviews we didn't have any trouble finding it with the directions sent... more

My friend and I (both 23 years old) stayed here for 5 nights and found this a little gem amongst all of the other overpriced places to stay in Venice. After an initial problem with the booking (we booked online at hostelbookers.com and wanted a twin room, but there seemed to be some confusion about whether it was a double... more

We knew Venice was going to be expensive and we weren't going to get the same value for money as in other Italian cities. We arrived at the hotel rather easily - even though other reviews had said it was hard to find. They sent us very good directions and Google Maps helped a great deal - we printed off... more

My friend and I loved staying here! It is brilliantly located between St Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge and the staff are incredibly hospitable. We mainly chose the hotel on the strength of the great reviews of the breakfast and it didn't disappoint-warm croissants and bread rolls with jam or nutella, gorgeous omlettes, yoghurt, juice and tea or coffee-quite... more
