We arrived at midnight and Esmeralda was there at the boat stop waiting for us with a big smile on her face. Exceptional welcome. We were a party of four. Two of us had a room with view over a beautiful garden. The others were given a double room, upgraded to a triple room as it was the only one... More

Loved our stay at the bed and breakfast. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anybody traveling to Venice. We appreciated the direct communication from the owners by email and that they met us at a common area to take us to back to the hotel.

Although the hotel may be a little bit difficult to find, it was worth it when we arrived. When we arrived at the hotel, Esmeralda - the wife personally welcomed us and gave us excellent tips & map about Venice. The room itself was very nice and very pretty. We didn't expect the shared bathroom to be any good, but... More

This hotel more than exceeded my expectations. The excellence started shortly after booking when we received an email directly from the hotel owners with instructions and a kind "thank-you" for booking. On the email, they also provided their personal cell phone for us to call them once we arrived in Venice. Just as instructed, we called as soon as our... More

On the train from Rome I called the proprietor who answered in perfect English and gave me instructions on how to catch the water bus and which stop to get off at in order for her to meet me. Clearly, this is helpful for newcomers who don't understand the systems of transportation nor the layout of the city but it... More

The hotel is very difficult to find by itself, so call them to pick you up at Rialto station. The rooms are very very clean and in a ancient style like venice looks like. I dont understand the people what they expect for a breakfast??? We were 4 persons, from 29-60 years old and were totally satisfied with all. The... More

Great place to stay! It is hard to find, but they are willing to pick you up from the S. silvestro stop. And they even came to find us when we got lost! They were very accommodating, quiet stay and good wifi connection! Would definitely recommend!

They came and got us late at night, even though we were only staying for one night, and then took us to get food, and were really helpful, when we booked and paid for 2 rooms online the night before they rang me to check I hadn't done so by accident. Charming room

it's the best place we have been in Italy. Thanks to Mario & Esmeralda, we enjoyed very much our stay. Room and shared bathroom spotless, a lot of information given during our 3 day stay, hot coffee and croissants as well as juices and yoghurts every morning. We had the opportunity to chat every day with the other guests. Very... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Our Bed & Breakfast finds itself in the center of Venice, 5 minutes walking from the famous Rialto bridge, and 15 minutes walking from Piazza San Marco. We are close to the main fish market place where there is a public transport gondola service which enables everyone to cross the Grand Canal for 2 euros per person. Our home is located in one of the oldest areas of Venice, where most houses are from the 13th century. Indeed Venetians used to leave originally in Torcello island, and then decided from the 8th century to move from the island of Torcello, more exposed to the Barbars invasions, to settle in the current Rialto area. Esmeralda and Mario, the owners who personally attend all guests during check-in, check-out and breakfast time, will answer all your questions and help you take most advantage of your stay in Venice. ... more   less
