The room was comfortable, 2 singles pushed together but fine. spacious room, amenities were good. Shared bathroom. Continental breakfast. Cheap rate. Hard to find so buy sim card for directions. Don't forget the city taxes, Venice is one of the higher ones. Wi-Fi good.

Room was comfortably furnished. .Short walk to main attractions..The owner was friendly and helpful. For the price, we felt we had a very good deal. The owners will fetch you from the bus/train station on your arrival.

The staff were friendly, good breakfast, shared bathroom but always clean, 15 minutes from city center on foot. Ask Mario about the Venice history and you will have a good opportunity to learn more about this beautiful city

Good value for money, friendly staff, clean and simple. only downside is that you share the bathroom. Very good location, would recommend to other travelers. Breakfast basic but suffices. Got tips on good and affordable restaurants nearby.

Very good hotel in heart of Venice, the owners are lovely and very welcoming not like your usual hoteliers who just want your money! They can't do enough for you. The room itself was clean and spacious and cleaned every day

It was really pleasure to meet Esmeralda and Mario. They gave us all the information about Venice after arrival. The room was nice, clean and also quite big, we didn't expect that. We also enjoyed tasty breakfast, we could choose between café, tea and hot chocolate to drink and fresh bread and yoghurt to eat. Thank you for everything, we... More

We had great time in Venezia and lost ourselves with great pleasure in those small streets around the B&B. Mario made us very good suggestions for dinner and answered all our questions about the city and the venitian lifestyle.

We reserved a room with a private bathroom and it was great. The room and bed were big, the room was clean and Mario, the owner, was very helpful. He gave us some tips about the city (places to eat, nearest bank, etc) and was quite attentive. The included breakfast was simple but delicious. Highly recommended for couples.

Our room was comfortably furnished.Small lack was that there was no hairdryer. The owner was friendly, pleasant, helpful and efficient. Location was quite central. Quiet area, short walk to main attractions. For the price, we felt we had a good deal.

Staying in San Polo

Neighborhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
