This was the second time we have stayed at Fujiyama. In 2012, we had the Shanghai room, which is a little more expensive and larger than the other rooms. We could not have been more pleased with the room, the B&B, and especially the Dorsoduro area in which it is located. This time the Shanghai was not available, so we... More

We were fortunate enough to stay at this wonderful little hidden gem while in Venice. The rooms are very well appointed, very clean and have air conditioning which was great treat as the temperature was 92 degrees. Noel was wonderful to us during our stay and is a wealth of information on places to see, eat and shop. The courtyard... More

We took over the whole B & B for my mother in law's 70th - it was great. Such a lovely setting and the staff are incredibly helpful. Academia is a lovely part of Venice that I've never really explored before and I really enjoyed the area - it has some lovely bars and restaurants in the square.

This is the second time staying here. There's a new face, Elena, who's is running the place. She's very pleasant, belongs to Venice, and knows about the best places around. The B&B is really in an excellent location, easy to reach and all attractions are close by - Accademia, San Marco, Zattere, Rialto. Yet, it is not in a crowded... More

My family stayed at this lovely B&B in the Paris room for three nights. Ideally, our room was better suited for a couple, as our hosts kindly added a futon bed for our daughter to sleep in, but therefore, we had limited space to move and felt quite cramped. Apart from this, our hosts were most gracious and helpful. Excellent... More

Just got back after 2 nights in this delightful B & B. The locations is great as it is not really that far from any of the main tourist destinations in Venice (if you like to walk everywhere like we do). It is in a quiet area of Venice so was very quiet at night. Our room was very clean... More

Not bad. Very clean, nice location in that it takes only about 15 mins to get to most places if you know roughly where you're going - st marks square, piazzale Roma or Santa Lucia, Rialto bridge/market. Located in a quiet street away from noise so it's quite peaceful here. There aren't loads of tourists walking around like at the... More

We heard about Fujiyama from a friend who highly recommended it. Our experience there was terrific. The rooms are spacious, for Europe, and quiet. There is a small outdoor area on the ground floor, and a smaller terrace one level above. We would have used them more if the weather had been better. Even in April Venice was crowded. It's... More

We had a very nice stay at Fujiyama in the Tokyo room for four nights starting March 21. The location in Dorsoduro was very convenient and was approximately 10 minutes walk from the Santa Lucia station crossing about 6 canal bridges. Elena was helpful and provided a map and directions. She also made our restaurant reservations which we emailed prior... More

Venice has many bustling snack bars. But it is not easy to find a quiet place to sit down and enjoy a sandwich and a drink. The Beatrice Tea Room in the Fujiyama B&B is such a place. I was fortunate to order the hot chocolate on that cold afternoon. Wow! It was the best I have ever had. Thick,... More
