This small boutique hotel is very close to every attraction you wish to visit and at the same time it's situated in a very quiet area. Very comfortable beds, quite large bathroom, everything is clean. Breakfast is good enough to keep you energetic until the lunch time. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Enjoy your stay!

Very small but well run and comfortable. Great location, central to everything but on the quiet side of the island. We enjoyed our stay here. Only negative, the bed was a bit soft. Breakfast was good, excellent coffee machine.

This is the second time I have stayed at Casa Rezzonico and we liked it again. Friendly staff, large rooms, ours with a view of the canal (rio san barnaba). I took away one star for the new, "do it yourself" coffee machine at breakfast that uses evaporated milk, which we do not love. However, also new is that one... More

Very clean hotel in a fantastic location. Communication with the staff was a bit difficult but manageable. Rick Steves also recommends this hotel. Plenty of shops and restaurants and shopping near by.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Venice. It was not far once we got off the vaporetto stop at Ca' Rezzonico. The area was quiet, the room clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast in the garden very nice.

The room was a lovely size, and was exactly what I would have imagined a venice hotel to feel like. It was in a great location and catered to all of our needs. Would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to my friends.

We stayed here for 3 nights recently. The Casa has a wonderful location in a very safe and friendly neighborhood away from the bustling area of St. Marks Square. We loved having breakfast in the serene and lovely courtyard. We were able to walk everywhere and appreciated the AC when we returned from our daily outings in the extreme heat.... More

I loved this B&B in Venice. It was a 5-7 minute walk to the vaporetto stop (importnat to know if you have heavy luggage). Located near a town square with restaurants, gelato and coffee. The breakfast was served in the charming garden. I would recommend the garden view rooms - so quiet and pretty. It is a nice change from... More

Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighborhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighborhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighborhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbors exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
