Discovered this lovely hotel on previous visits to Venice and have passed its details to many friends but never managed to stay there ourselves. Finally made it and it was just lovely. The owners and staff are just wonderful and couldn't be more helpful. Cannot recommend it highly enough. We were unfamiliar with the area - Santa Croce - but... More

Beautiful small hotel in a quiet and no so turisty ' Venice' area, yet again just minutes walk from the main sights. We had a room in the 'annex' building, nicely appointed, not much of a view but we did not seem to mind that - I even found it rather cool when the owner explained the room was once... More

I had believed that Venice was an impossibly expensive place to stay, so Hotel Al Ponte Mocenigo, with it's really reasonable rates and great reviews seemed too good to be true. It was true, and really good. It is tucked away in a quiet corner, but a short walk to everything. The staff and management are very friendly and helpful... More

We stayed at this hotel based on the good reviews it has received. It is quite easy to find in the labyrinth of Venice, though the access is via a tiny lane. The welcome at the reception was average, though they did give us good information. The rooms themselves were quite good considering it's a budget hotel. The location is... More

The room is so nice, decorated in style "renaissance". My room was in the new part, it was very quiet. And so clean. The staff make you feel at home. I receive, before my arrival, informations to get there from the terminal station. That was very helpful. I don't understand the two stars; this hotel is definitively worth more than... More

I was skeptical staying in a 3 star hotel but the 5 star TripAdvisor rating and the price tag convinced me to give this place a try. I won't stay anywhere else in Venice anymore. The location is good, steps from a main water bus stop, a short walk to st mark square. Very quiet in the evening. The rooms... More

We booked this charming hotel based on the trip advisor reviews. So glad we did. The hotel is steps away from a vaporetto stop which is so convenient, although it's possible to just meander through the streets and over the canals to reach all the sights. There are lots of nice restaurants close by. The hotel is small and friendly and they... More

Fantastic little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Property is very easy to get to, yet away from the loud touristy areas. A quick walk from the San Stae vaporetto stop, and an easy walk to Ponte Rialto, and St. Mark's Square. The room was recently renovated and good sized, shower and bathroom were nice. Bed was comfy and... More

This tucked away gem , has charm, comfort, and extreme cordiality . Very friendly staff and proprietors , nothing seems too much trouble . The room was stylish comfortable and very generously proportioned. The breakfast was fresh, and plentiful , with attentive staff happy to oblige . It is perfectly situated for a quiet getaway . Rialto is just a... More

We stayed here for three nights and it was such a pleasure to stay there. The room we had over looked the canal. Ok you did have to lean out of the window to see the canal but it was nice to hear the lapping on the water against the walls. The hotel appears to have taken inspiration from the... More
