Being used to stay at more expensive hotels, as I value comfort very much, I was surprised by the amazingly high service, very comfortable room and nice breakfast in this beautiful Venetian style hotel we have stayed in during our short city break end of August with our 2 children (8 and 10 years of age) for a very reasonable... Firstly - location was excellent when you are lugging your suitcases from either the airport or the train station - you get off at San Stae vaperetto stop and walk down the street to the first very narrow how-can-the-hotel-be-in-that-dark-alley according to the sign on the wall. An adventure and yes the hotel door is on the right side marked by... More

We stayed in a superior double room in a new wing of the hotel that is somewhat separate from the main building. The room was decorated in lavish venetian style, and the large window overlooked a peaceful canal. High ceilings and a comfortable bed made for a very pleasant stay. Breakfast is in a little garden area in the main... More

Heard good reviews about this hotel in Venice and it did not disappoint. From the booking of the rooms to the checkout, staff were helpful and friendly and had enhanced our stay in Venice. Breakfast was yummy, especially the croissants. The room had a Venetian style to it , only downside was the shower room which was a little cramped.... More

We stayed for four nights and enjoyed our stay very much. Having walked around many areas in Venice we felt we were staying in the best area. The hotel is very comfortable and the room had a lot of character. The courtyard breakfast each morning was a treat and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Excellent value.

A 15/20min walk to st Marks square, but glad it was in this area, shops were slightly cheaper our a slice of pizza at lunch and we got see another area of the city. Can't wait to... More

Stayed here for three nights at from 12th-15th August. The owners and their staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast area in the courtyard is really something special, you feel like you are in your own little paradise. Our room was decorated in a traditional Venice style which really adds to the experience. I have to say a special... More

This is a charming little hotel off the beaten path but only a 1 min. walk to the water taxi and a couple of stops from the train station. We stayed in the annex to the main hotel which had very spacious and clean baths and rooms. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Wonderful breakfast in the lovely courtyard.... More

This review is overdue. We travelled to Venice at the end of April 2014. We arrived at Venice airport and had requested details of the best ways to reach the hotel. We arrived by boat from the airport with no hassles even though the weather was a grey misty day. The boat stopped at the San Stae water stop and... More
