Located just 50metres from San Stai vaporetto stop on the Orange laguna line access from Marco Polo airport is easy. It is a charming 10-15minute walk to the Rialto Bridge. The decor and comfort of the hotel are excellent but it is the attitude of the owners and staff that make it so special.

We stayed at Al Ponte Mocengio for 5 nights with our Teen daughters before a cruise to Greece. What a beautiful and charming place! We loved the location, a bit away from the main tourist place and still not far to walk to all the attraction. You are in a neighbor hood where families gather in the evening for a... More

This charming hotel is not just a 2 star hotel. Better then most 5 star hotels. The room we stayed in was charming, friendly staff and a lovely breakfast. The location was perfect. We could walk to everything we wanted to see and when we did take water transportation the hotel was a 2 minute walk from the drop off... More

I stayed at the Hotel Al Ponte Mocenigo for 2 nights prior to a cruise in October 2014. As a solo traveler I stayed in a single room on the ground floor, off the dining room. The room had a queen size bed, small desk, wardrobe and private bath. The room perfect for 1 person and would accommodate 2 tightly... More

We stayed at the Hotel Al Ponte Mocenigo in June for a couple of nights before joining our cruise. I came across the hotel as it was recommended in the Telegraph and I am so pleased i did. We were travelling with friends who were celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary so i was looking for somewhere to stay that had... More

What makes a hotel stay in Venice a great one? We traveled as a couple and stayed in this hotel from Jan 12 to 16, 2015. Here's what you get: Location. After a very short walk from San Stae vaporetto (boat bus) stop, you're at the backdoor of the main building -- without having to cross any bridge, which is... More

Have stayed here twice over 2 years and both times had a blast. First room was a lot bigger than the second but quality was the same so not really an issue for me. Having to drop of the key before leaving each time was a little new to me but the system worked. The staff were always happy to... More

We booked this hotel after having read some good reviews here on TA. We booked for 2 nights and most definitely enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Hotel is an easy boat ride from the train station, believe its ferry no. 1 that you can take to San Stae and they are located right behind the church, main entrance is... More

just stayed 3 days with Walter & Sandro and really enjoyed it. Quiet and picturesque area and easy to find. Our room overlooked the bridge over a small canal giving it a real Venetian feel. Good breakfast with real coffee and decent juice and lovely cakes. Excellent value for money. A few good neighborhood restaurants closeby and the Ca' Pesaro... More

I reviewed this hotel after staying a couple of years ago. i was delighted by it then and was delighted during my stay this week. Previously I had stayed in both annexes, this time we were in the main hotel. We had Room 5 which was great. In terms of floor area it isn't a massive room but it feels... More
