We stayed for 4 nights in late September. This hotel was fantastic, we stayed in the annex on the first floor. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed, the included breakfast was fresh and very tasty. Location of the hotel is great with everything a nice walk away. Would stay here every time we come back to venice.

Stayed here recently for 5 days. This was our 3rd visit and we will definitely be back the next time we visit Venice. The location of the hotel is very good, adjacent to the San Stae vaporetto stop, so convenient for getting around. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the Rialto and about 20 minutes to San... We stayed in the annex on the first floor (just one flight of steps) in a standard room that was quite large for a standard room in Venice. The hotel was in a great out of the way area of Venice and we loved exploring the Santa Croce neighborhoods instead of fighting the crowds in San Marco and Castello. We... More

"Wow" - my hubbies first word on seeing our room after a long journey overland from London via Paris and Munich. The room was beautiful. A cool, air-conditioned sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of Venice's main tourist areas. One of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. Fantastic shower. And this was a standard room... More

I know everyone loves this place, that they it should be more than a 2 star hotel, that its a great value. I disagree, and here is why. We stayed in the annex, in room 31, which is up two flights of uneven, potentially slippery stairs, that is not fully covered with railings to hold on to. The room itself,... More

Being used to stay at more expensive hotels, as I value comfort very much, I was surprised by the amazingly high service, very comfortable room and nice breakfast in this beautiful Venetian style hotel we have stayed in during our short city break end of August with our 2 children (8 and 10 years of age) for a very reasonable... Firstly - location was excellent when you are lugging your suitcases from either the airport or the train station - you get off at San Stae vaperetto stop and walk down the street to the first very narrow how-can-the-hotel-be-in-that-dark-alley according to the sign on the wall. An adventure and yes the hotel door is on the right side marked by... More

We stayed in a superior double room in a new wing of the hotel that is somewhat separate from the main building. The room was decorated in lavish venetian style, and the large window overlooked a peaceful canal. High ceilings and a comfortable bed made for a very pleasant stay. Breakfast is in a little garden area in the main... More

Heard good reviews about this hotel in Venice and it did not disappoint. From the booking of the rooms to the checkout, staff were helpful and friendly and had enhanced our stay in Venice. Breakfast was yummy, especially the croissants. The room had a Venetian style to it , only downside was the shower room which was a little cramped.... More

Stayed in first week of September, weather was cool and with drizzle. No worries they provide umbrellas. Food was great, rooms are super, heat and air work fine staff is friendly. Location is terrific. Your going to walk everywhere, so distance to everything is relative. Boat are necessary if you're going to islands our to tired to walk back at... More
