Fantastic location very easy to find just walk straight down from the Railto Bridge The room we got was on the top floor it had its own roof top terrace with views over the roof tops. The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good I would definitely stay here again

The location is AMAZING!! Our first time in venice and we found our way here from the airport with no problem what so ever following the directions received via email from the hotel (which they sent us without request within minutes of booking). Literally steps away from the Rialto Bridge which is worth staying here just based on that. Upon... More

It was a pleasant accommodation, very good situated, close to Plaza San Marco and the shopping area. The room was warm and clean. The stuff was kind and helpful. Great wi-fi. No complains. I truly recomand it.

I was nervous when i booked this place, after all it was one of the best deals online, seemingly in the best location. I thought there would be a catch. As soon as I made my online payment I was greeted with a personal booking confirmation kindly asking at what we would be arriving. A couple of days before we... More

Ok, so I am an American student currently studying abroad in the UK. I went on a week-long holiday to Italy in September of 2014 with a travel companion. Rome for 3.5 days, Florence for 2, and Venice for 1.5. For some unholy reason, we couldn't find a single room (or two beds) in Venice for our dates at budget... More

We stayed her for three nights in July. It is located close to the Rialto Bridge, which is a centralized location and offers easy access to all the sights and transportation options in Venice. Although the B&B is located in a centralized location within Venice, it sits in a small passageway off the Campo San Bartolomeo. So it is very... More

My wife booked this hotel for my birthday. We arrived in Venice ,caught the water bus to Rialto bridge, followed the instructions to the hotel. A 5 minute walk. Small hotel clean and tidy. A flight of steps to reception. We checked in and had a great handover of the hotel information. Our room was the pink room which was... More

We stayed here for three nights and were extremely pleased. The location is fabulous, just steps from the Rialto Bridge and a ten minute walk from St. Marks Square. The staff were extremely helpful and made some great recommendations for food and drinks. Our room was small, but had this amazingly beautiful rooftop terrace from which we could see the... More

(There is no elevator). We had room nr 5, wich has a little roof terrace. The access to this terrace was a bit challenging, but the terrace itself was nice. The breakfast was ok, and the staff were friendly and helpful! Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
