After a three night stay I cannot recommended this run down hotel. In Venice on the same trip we stayed in cleaner and cheaper bed and breakfast than this hotel. Hotel Alex is your basic, affordable place to stay that is clean and close to everything, It's not a destination hotel - its very inexpensive for Venice. It wasn't our first choice but I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Staff is friendly. more
