The Palazzo Vitturi is in Campo Santa Maria Formosa square and it is a very short walk away from Rialto bridge. Easy walk to Piazza San Marco (10 mins). The hotel is small (around 10 rooms). The rooms were large with plenty of space and a very large bathroom. Breakfast was ok, enough to keep us going till lunch time.... more

Pefect location between Rialto and P. San Marco, overlooking a large piazza with a church. Close to everything yet quiet, less touristy and more of a local feel. Beautifully renovated. Sofiane, the Manager, is a wealth of information that he shares with enthusiasm, and the staff very helpful. The rooms are either modern or feel like a real palace. Bathrooms... more

We spent 4 nights of pure luxury at the Palazzo Vitture and wished we could have stayed longer. It is a 10 minute walk from either St. Mark's Square or the Rialto Bridge. It is situated on a charming square with a church, gondola stand, fruit stand, a couple of restaurants and a Gelatto just steps away. The breakfast was... more

This is a lovely little hotel! The front desk staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable, clean, and BIG (especially the bathroom). This is a great base for exploring Venice. Located in the quiet Campo Santa Maria Formosa, it's an easy walk to Ponte Rialto & the Grande Canal and Piazza San Marco. There is a restaurant... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. This was a treat for my 30th birthday and I could not have asked for more. The staff were all so helpful especially Amza who even organised us a day at the beach in Lido! We upgraded to the suite which was lovely! The living room was huge with high ceilings (nicely painted), it... more

I was just reading the reviews and remembering my 2007 trip to Venice. We had a hard time finding the hotel when we arrived. We called and whoever was on duty asked us to describe our location AND he came and found us and lead us back to the hotel. You cannot beat that as service. We throughly enjoyed our... more

Venice being Venice it was a little hard to find the Pallazzo. To make things trickier the external signage is quite subtle. But when we got there we were thrilled by the size and condition of our room, the friendliness of the staff and how lovely their recent renovation was. A huge and immacualte room with a King sized bed... more

We decided to swing by Venice for a 2 day/1 night visit while we were in northern Italy and it was a fairly good visit. We had our two teenaged kids with us and let them know we were going out of the way to a very special city where there is really nothing like it in the world. Well...... more

We stayed here in early October 2008. From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. Sofiane Lahouasnia and his staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and full of warmth and charm. The accommodations are excellent and immaculate. We found the location to be ideal. We would recommend the Hotel Palazzo Vitturi to everyone traveling... more
