Loved it here!! Felt very safe, place had 4 locked doors so we felt comfortable leaving our stuff in our room. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very friendly and ready to help with restaurant and sight seeing suggestions. We had 3 girls sharing the bathroom so we were pleased it was nice and big. Would definitely stay there... More

We spent 4nights here at the beginning of vacation. For Venice it is very quiet. There are only 3units. Ours was very clean, had window screens(!), and nice and very helpful staff. Marisa ( I hope that is her name) is an ex tour guide and knows so much about the city. It is easy walking to Rialto. The recommended vaporetto... More

You're never truly sure you'll get what you've booked when you go on holiday, are you? At Corte 1321 we needn't have worried. The location was sublime, close enough to avoid tired feet but far enough away to find the "true venetian" feel. In one of the many alleys and back streets (where even late at night you feel safe... I am remiss with this review and it is long over due. This B&B was lovely with a beautiful courtyard where we had breakfast each morning. It was like being whisked out of the crazy city for the moments we were in our room or courtyard. Our room looked down on the courtyard and was VERY large with a huge... More

Beautiful little B&B in a fantastic location in San Polo, which was perfect for exploring Venice. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and we were welcomed by Vanessa who took her time to tell us all her recommendations for food, gelato etc. 4 adult ladies stayed comfortably in the apartment which came with fridge etc. Bathroom and shower was great too. Breakfast,... More

The location of the B&B is perfect for exploring venice and the welcome was outstanding. It is extremely clean and the rooms are lovely and full of character, I cannot recommend this enough. I would stay here again.

Corte 1321 is a great B & B in a great city. Very well located for good places to eat, good shopping, the fantastic fish & vegetable markets at the Rialto, the Rialto itself. It's an old 'palazzo' (1500s), very comfortable, sensitively furnished, excellent beds, lovely breakfasts. Warm, friendly, knowledgeable people.

Was a bit hard to find in the first place, because of the narrow Venetian streets. The place is a jewel though; clean, comfortable, as quiet as possible for Venice, rooms are big and the staff is very friendly. Good value for money!

Thank you so much. We know that Venice is a maze and as we are redoing our website we will have a very good map with photos and arrows explaining how to arrive to us!!! All the best, Amelia More

We stayed here 22nd-24th September 2014. The B&B was located close (couple of minutes walk) to the vaporetto stop after the Rialto bridge. The directions on the website are a little vague/confusing (3rd left after pizzeria actually means turn left immediatley after the large pizzeria/restaurant in the sqaure). We followed the directions provided by other people on trip advisor and... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. The location was good as it was near The rialto and the vaporetto station. We also walked the major sites from the B&B. There were also a patisserie, convenience store and restaurants at the door. Stepping in though the place was calm and peaceful. The room was big and the bathroom which was kept... More

We are so happy that you enjoyed the courtyard and liked the location of our B&B. We find it to be in a perfect position to get around to all the sites easily but off the beaten track for some quiet time. Thanks again for staying with us, Amelia More

Staying in San Polo

Neighborhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
