Corte 1321 is truly the perfect place to stay while visiting Venice if you crave some peace and tranquility in a busy city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the courtyard is just lovely. In the evenings, it is almost as if you are staying in your own apartment. Vanessa is a wealth of information about Venice and was... More

After all the warnings that this place is hard to find, I scouted it out before checkin and was able to walk right to it with the directions on the website. It is was no problem. There is a little tree right by the door. Be sure to arrive early because nobody will be there to check you in after... More

Owner of The B&B Lady is very friendly kind and marvelous. She gave us very helpful quick guide of the city and the map free also offered bottle of wine upon arrival. B&B is very new and clean And has a great location. They have a laptop and printer for our use. Our room was very big and great decorated.

Corte 1321 - planning our vacation to Venice turned into a headache when it came time to selecting a hotel room to accommodate 4 people. Everything I looked at seemed too expensive and a bit on the tired side. When I finally found Corte 1321 I was pleasantly surprised. I was slightly intimidated about finding the place the first time,... More

Feels more like a small hotel with a private concierge than a b&b. Vanessa was a tour guide previously and gives amazing advice. Standards are very high, room was quiet, cool, clean, and very well located. Great breakfast in private courtyard, just splendid. Excellent value too. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We were welcomed with open arms and had a super 2 night stay and explore of Venice from this perfect base. Breakfasts were tasty, our room was super, next to reception and a very good size. It was a great location for us to explore all the delights of Venice and we will definitely be back!

The location is a short walk to the Rialto bridge. The b&b offered a very well proportioned room with good quality linen, was extremely clean and very secure. We were welcomed and made to feel very comfortable by Vanessa who runs the b&b. Her personable character was a real credit to a successfully run business. A choice of cake for... More

Loved it here!! Felt very safe, place had 4 locked doors so we felt comfortable leaving our stuff in our room. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very friendly and ready to help with restaurant and sight seeing suggestions. We had 3 girls sharing the bathroom so we were pleased it was nice and big. Would definitely stay there... More

We spent 4nights here at the beginning of vacation. For Venice it is very quiet. There are only 3units. Ours was very clean, had window screens(!), and nice and very helpful staff. Marisa ( I hope that is her name) is an ex tour guide and knows so much about the city. It is easy walking to Rialto. The recommended vaporetto... More

You're never truly sure you'll get what you've booked when you go on holiday, are you? At Corte 1321 we needn't have worried. The location was sublime, close enough to avoid tired feet but far enough away to find the "true venetian" feel. In one of the many alleys and back streets (where even late at night you feel safe... Staying in San Polo

Neighborhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
