Corte 1321 is well located, hidden away in San polo, a short walk from the Rialto, good restaurants and shops nearby. But the secret of the B&B is its quality - spacious, well decorated, looking on to a small courtyard, with a delightful manager/housekeeper to keep it 'ticking'. Vanessa gave us the 'keys' to Venice with her insights, tips, and... More

We had a great stay. Middle in the center of Venice. Staff at your service in the morning. Even an warmer breakfast was arranged for us. A lot of restaurants close by. The room was quiet and enough space.

This is a gem hidden away in the narrow streets of Venice five minutes from the Rialto bridge and grand canal. The lady in charge is very helpful and speaks excellent English. The place is sett in a courtyard and is very quiet, clean and spacious. There are good restraunts and shops on the doorstep and it is easy to... More

Stayed for 3 nights with a friend in the family suite/apartment which was really pretty, very spacious and opened out of its own separate entrance directly to the lovely courtyard. Bathroom and shower were small but that's something you'll encounter in a lot of rooms in Europe. Vanessa was great, we got lost trying to find the property and she... More

Wow what a beautiful little boutique hotel!! Fantastic courtyard to enjoy breakfast in... Made even more special by the freshly bought local cakes and pastries every morning! Beautiful room, comfy beds and excellent large bathroom with a corner bath! Vanessa couldn't have been more welcoming ... Even coming out to find us when we were lost in the heart of... More

I enjoy the neighborhood feel of Corte 1321. Away from all the cruise ship hordes you feel truly a part of local Venice. The nearby restaurants and cafes are all locals and the shopping is more reasonable. We have stayed here every time we return to Venice and although our last visit had been in 2007 we weren't sure things... More

Corte 1321 is truly the perfect place to stay while visiting Venice if you crave some peace and tranquility in a busy city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the courtyard is just lovely. In the evenings, it is almost as if you are staying in your own apartment. Vanessa is a wealth of information about Venice and was... More

Thank you for your super review. As a B&B we aren't allowed to cook so we try very hard to find excellent products that we vary often for breakfast. More

After all the warnings that this place is hard to find, I scouted it out before checkin and was able to walk right to it with the directions on the website. It is was no problem. There is a little tree right by the door. Be sure to arrive early because nobody will be there to check you in after... More

We took these "hard to find warnings" to heart and when we redid our website we made sure to include photo's on what you see on your way to us from the vaporetto stop san silvestro. Glad to know they work! We put in the key pads for guests who don't want to be tied down to a specific arrival... More

Owner of The B&B Lady is very friendly kind and marvelous. She gave us very helpful quick guide of the city and the map free also offered bottle of wine upon arrival. B&B is very new and clean And has a great location. They have a laptop and printer for our use. Our room was very big and great decorated.

Staying in San Polo

Neighborhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
