I spent two nights at Hotel Mignon in early September. Traveling by myself I had a single room on the third floor - no lift, but no problem. The room was cute, and small of course, but it's a single in Venice so I was expecting that. My suitcase fit easily inside the wardrobe and there was plenty of room... more

I found Hotel Mignon a charming little hotel which perfectly serves the purpose of an avergage budget stay in Venice. The location is just perfect, just around the corner of a the not so touristy square (Campo SS Apostoli) and the wide and spacious Strada Nova, 3-4 minute walk to the busy Rialto bridge, idem to the nearest Vaporetto stop... more

MAY 2009. We have just returned from honeymoon in Venice and booked this hotel because of its location. We were not disappointed. Excellent staff, very co-operative, very knowledgeable. The room was lovely with embossed wallpaper and decorations and furniture that gave it a claasy feeling. The only minor complaints were that the shower area was cramped, there was no mirror... more

This was our first hotel in Venice. We were very happy with the hotel for the price. We weren't expecting much. We arrived later than anticipated due to flight problems and staff were very helpful and obliging. Bed and pillows comfy. Breakfast is basic but enough to get you going for the day. We would stay here again. It's easy... more

If you just want a place to sleep and shower, this is a great place for you! The prices are very reasonable, and it's in a great location. Our hair dryer didn't work, and when I complained about it, the desk manager just shrugged. The breakfast is passable. The staff will make you espresso or a latte for breakfast, which... more

If you have extremely high expectations this hotel is not for you! If you are looking for a hotel moderately priced, with a great location, and don't expect to be in the hotel too often, this hotel will work great. 1. you must have excellent navigation skills to find this hotel, and always keep your map close by. (the hotel... more

If you can plan far enough upfront you can get yourself a real bargain at this hotel. Only 16 rooms so get organised. It cost us 130euro for 2 nights B&B, £40 in the centre of town! It is clean, comfortable, has very friendly staff and has made an obvious effort with the decoration of the rooms and foyer. The... more

This is the right hotel to overnight when in Venice. It's cheap, the rooms are clean and very cute. Besides, it lies in the city centre and you're two minutes walk from the main attractions. more

Stayed at the Hotel Mignon for five days during high season this summer. (2nd week in August, yikes!) My stay there made the trip a very pleasant experience in spite of the crowds. Having visited Venice before, I found it's location to be amazing--a great escape from the touristy parts. It was a sweet and comfortable place. Extremely easy to... more

Funky little traditional hotel in Cannaregio area, near Ca d'Oro vaporetto stop, down a little tiny alley. Room was small, with floral painted furniture. Good size clean bathroom. Continental breakfast (packaged rolls and jam, coffee). No elevator (we were on 3rd floor). Great location, near bakeries, great Gellato, delicatessens right outside the door. Venetian families live in this area. Near... more
