In a city notorious for the cost and varying quality of its hotels and restaurants, this small hotel can be a genuine bargain. We stayed for two nights between Chrismas and New Year.Rooms were perfectly adequate.More spacious than expected and clean.Bathrooms, with bath, had been newly renovated.Breakfast was basic but fair for what we paid.Stefano on reception was a very kind and friendly... This is a wonderful small hotel. It is located alongside a picturesque canal in a quiet residential neighborhood, away from the tourist areas. It is a pleasant five minute walk to the two nearest vaporetto stops. We purchased the 7 day vaporetto pass, but one can easily walk from the hotel to any of the sights in Venice from the... More

We are a family of five (kids aged 15, 13 & 6). We stayed in 'Appartamenti Veronese' which belongs to the hotel and is across the road from it (2 minutes walk). It was a great apartment, two bedrooms, one with double bed and one with king size + extra bed, two showers and toilets, kitchen, dining etc. it had... More

This small hotel is off the beaten path which is exactly what my wife and I were looking for. There was about a ten minute walk to the water bus stop one way and about the same in the other direction to the main canal which puts it in a very quiet area of Venice. Never had a problem walking... More

We stayed here twice, before and after a cruise. We booked the same apartment both times and loved it. The location in the Dorsoduro district is nice and quiet. The apartment was comfortable and roomy. The service and breakfast was excellent. No complaints!

What a lovely hotel with lovely staff! We found our way from the coach stop with relative ease; 5-10 mins walk max with GPS on the phone. It is a little off the beaten track but this was ideal for us, we didn't really want to be in the middle of the bustle with all the pidgeons and smells! We... More

This small Dosoduro hotel, lodged a bit beyond the rush of tourist throngs, is a tranquil spot, and a very good value. Easy walks to the Accademia, Scuola Grande di San Rocco, Frari and of course St. Mark’s. Below: the Guidecca Canal (and vaporetto service). Helpful staff. Good breakfast and coffee. Very comfortable rooms. The hotel’s restaurant is not on-site,... More

We upgraded to this hotel on a Go-Today trip. It is lovely!!! The hotel, the lobby and the breakfast room are beautiful! We had a difficult time trying to find the hotel, but it made us think that we were in old world Italy. The staff was very helpful, they provided us with options for getting to the airport. They... Nice, quiet, and roomy. This hotel would be kinda hard to find if you didn't have google maps, but once you find it, it is quaint and comfortable. The hotel staff are very friendly and take time to tell you where are good places to eat and things to do. I enjoyed my stay here. It is not in the... More
