We loved this place....we went eight nights there recently and as people that live in rural America, the idea that something 15-20 minutes away via walking was "too far away" as some have mentioned was laughable. This charming small hotel still manages to give one a sense of Venice before it was overrun by tourists. It is a short easy walk from the bus station even if you have baggage and while it is in a quiet residential neighborhood it is not far to the main attactions.
