I don’t know if this is the worst hotel where I stayed, but it was definitely terrible surprise!!!! Especially after looooooong and great trip through various cities of Italy……… When arriving in Venice you can expect strange smell, huge number of people, etc. The only thing which I didn’t expect and need was rude staff on the reception, stinky and... I understand Venice and it's buildings are old but this place was just too much. We stayed in March and I'm writing this in august but the memory is still fresh. The only good thing is that we just stayed a night. The receptionist, a middle aged lady was rude, the rest of the staff was with poor English and... More

I stayed here with my partner and we thought it was great for what we wanted from a hotel in Venice! we were dubious about going there because of the previous reviews, but we didnt encounter any rudness from the staff, the rooms were average, quite small, but served the purpose! there was a bed and a clean shower and... This is the worst hotel that we have ever been to! We arrived before check in time and were told that our 3 rooms were not ready for us. This was fine, but it was raining and had to wait for 3 hours in their very small lobby. We found this odd that none of our rooms were ready. The man... More

I am totally disappointed in this hotel, especially the receptionist (Some old man that I don't know if he was the manager in charge here.) I booked a Quadruple room for my family, and when I checked in, I got the information that the original room was given to a group of guests that the booking maker has the similar... More

The reception staff is extremely rude. The rooms are moist and smell like they have not been properly cleaned in a very long time. Any money spent at this hotel is a waste ! STAY AAN FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE

This is a very pretty place to spend a few nights in Venice. The interiors evoke the Venetian Settecento, with sinuous furniture and pastel colors. The room we stayed in was relatively big, the bathroom was clean and new. The common spaces are beautifully decorated and comfortable, also thanks to air conditioning (Venice is hot in the middle of the... More

Stayed here with about 30 students in 2012. Great location. Very close to train station and vaporetti to Venice proper and islands of murano and burano. Quirky but clean and quiet rooms. Helpful staff. I would stay there again, possibly in 2015 when I return with students!
