Get out of Stazione di Venezia Santa Lucia station flank a left, walk about 150m on Rio Tera Lista di Spagna, Belle Époque is on your left. Entrance is kind of unimpressive soon to realize most of the hotels around that area looks the same. Staff: front desk staff is rude & not helpful. I'm sure you know this already... More

Absolutely recommendable for slim and short people (bed and bathroom are not too large) who search for a clean, well-heated place. You can expect a clean room, nice bathroom, cosy towels. Heating/air condition was not easy to handle and made strange noises at night. Breakfast more than basic and quality was ok. Location: close to shops, restaurants and train station,... More

My wife, son and I stayed in this hotel while on a three day visit to this city. The hotel is only 200m from the train station and is very easy to find if you walk left out of the station along Spagna. It is surrounded by nice shops and cafes and is 100m only from the Grande Canal. It's... More

Of course, there are better accommodation in Venice, but at greater price too. There are disadvantages such as Wi Fi from lobby at price of 5 EUR, but not an FB and internet addict, so used roaming, when needed. During our stay elevator was functional but didnt need it. Stuff isnt to friendly like someone said before. GianLuca, the young... More

A great location. If you like adornments this is the place for you. It was a little over the top for my liking. The price was reasonable for Venice, however I am sure better deals could be found. The food was a diabetics nightmare. ...cake for breakfast!

We stayed for 3 days on 3rd floor and the elevators were not working. I was told by the tour leader that it is not the first time they have problem with the elevator and nobody to help you with the luggage. The front desk people never had a smile or were helpful. The room was very nice and quiet... More

Pros: This hotel is about as close as you can get to to the train station. It is also in a great location to catch the ferry and gondola rides. The hotel lobby is beautiful. There is a decent Continental breakfast. Con: Staff is very unfriendly and unhelpful, borderline rude. The worst hospitality on my 2 week trip. The room... More

when we arrived to the hotel, there was absolutely no concierge to be found. we had to roam to a creepy back room to find an employee, Gian Luca(?) who looked less than pleased to see us. we had reserved a triple (for three) and a double (for two). when he checked us in, we were charged with a fee... This was the third city that my husband and I visited on our honeymoon in Italy, and we had been very happy with our hotels in Rome and Florence. This hotel did not compare favorably to those other experiences. The staff spoke English fairly well, which was fine, but they were not friendly at all when we checked in, and... More

In our recent stay at this hotel we experienced good and bad. Room was kept very clean, bed really comfortable, and breakfast was nice. The only bad I mean BAD thing was the front desk staff, indifferent, rude, and treated guests as annoyances. This old guy that checked us in would not even look us in the face when talking.
