Ca Maria Adele is like a fairy tale. We stayed for 8 nights and about 10 days. Everything about it, the service, the location, the actual hotel and rooms, is perfection. It is a small boutique hotel, formerly a palazzo (Italian palace). Breakfast is included, and the options are a long list of culinary delights, whatever you want, including fresh... More

My girlfriend and i stayed here for 3 nights. It was simply amazing. In a quiet position at the tip of the dosadoro area right next to the salute church. The water taxi stops next to the hotel to whisk you up the river towards the rialto or hop one stop across the river and you are in the thick... More

Highly recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway in Venice, luxury all the way with amazing and attentive hotel staff. The location was great, away from the hustle and loud inner centre yet close enough to hop straight into town for drinks and dinner! I will remember my stay at Ca Maria and will certainly be returning back!

We had an AMAZING 2 night stay in The Black Room at Ca Maria Adelle. It was a 2 story suite, ultra luxurious - every design detail impeccable. It's one of the nicest places we have stayed - I almost didn't want to leave the room, it was such a treat. The location is amazing, can't be beat - San... More

We have just stayed at Ca Maria Adele for 3 nights .. Currently on the plane to our next destination and felt I had to write this review straight away. This is a Venetian boutique hotel. Everything is simply amazing, from the high attention to detail in the decor to the superb service from the staff. When we arrived (after... More

With my wife we spent two nights in this beautiful small and romantic hotel in the very center of Venice and were extremely pleased by the experience. We arrived by car in Venice and following the directions received by the hotel reception we parked our car in the Garage San Marco which was very close to the boat taxis and... More

Deluxe suite was great. Homely and romantic hotel. Only twelve rooms in this hotel which are well appointed. Helpful staff. Great place if you want to be away from crowds. This hotel doesn't not have a restaurant but serves decent breakfast. We did not miss in-house restaurant as there are many good restaurants in walking distance.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. Very central location, great staff, good sized rooms, breakfast was also very good. Only drawback was 3 flights of stairs - but the staff help with baggage etc so not a huge deal. Water taxi accessible, concierge helped with restaurants, gondola tour, transfers, etc. Very nice design, would stay here again.

Sometimes happens that fairytale becomes reality. At Ca' Maria Adele everything has been lovely made to make you feel welcome and loved. You could spend such a long time discovering enchanting details in every room and space of ca' maria adele. But I should admit that what made me definitely fall in love has been water&mint and cold parfumed refreshing... More

Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighborhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighborhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighborhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbors exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
