While most hotels in Venice, in my experience, are difficult to find, this one is hidden inside a building with a dilapidated entry and entry stairs. The family room that we had was very nice. The inside negatives were a serious lack of hot water, quite unfriendly front desk personnel, and the spartan breakfast that was included (Only a basket... More

we stayed maybe a "block" away from the hotel. after checking in, the man at the desk showed us to our room which was very nice! he told us reception was open 25 hours a day and they were very friendly! The room was nice and had a tv and a nice bathroom with a bidet. A queen sized bed,... More

We did not stay in the Palazzo Rosa hotel, but in an apartment managed by the hotel. In fact, we didn't actually see anything that looked like a hotel and checked in at a little office at the address given. We entered through a large bare rundown lobby and were not sure there actually was a real hotel. We had... More

Stayed here in mid April. It's in an excellent location--near enough to the Vaporetto, and near a lovely piazza. It's not all that clean, unfortunately, and certainly overpriced on this point, alone. Lots of steps, especially if you are staying at the secondary property. But, never bring too much luggage to Venice, anyway. The building is extremely run down, though... More

I recently visited Italy and while there stayed at the Palazzo Rosa. The service was great, the employees were very friendly and our room was great! It was very clean and had everything we needed. We fell in love with Johnny "Big House" when he talked to us the next morning at breakfast. He was very informative, friendly and funny.... More

Very bad ! Not well indicated, Not clean, Cold, The Floor is not straight so our heads were down compare our feet on the bed. The bed was itchy and disgusting . A lot of mosquitos. A lot of dust, building very old, very noisy, you can heard your neighbor peeing. Expensive for what it is. We change accommodation after... More

Great old hotel conveniently located. Very good service and the breakfast room with its balcony on a small canal will have you enthralled. The breakfast was good, typical Italian fare with pastries. We are a mature couple but our younger adult daughter loved this place too. Be wary of mosquitoes in the summer!

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. As other reviewers have advised, this hotel is infested with bed bugs. But the bed bugs were not even the worst part of our experience, it was the way the owner lied to us right up till the end that was most upsetting. At 1am on our first night my... More

Initially hard to find but Venice difficult in general.Good walking distance to some main attractions eg: Rialto bridge and good public water taxi service. Some really nice shops just outside apartments.400 year old apartments and so quaint. The fresh croissants we got as part of our breakfast were the nicest I have ever eaten. The managers went out of their way to make...
