We had an amazing time at Ca'Angeli. The location was perfect, and the building is beautiful. We stayed in the room with the private terrace overlooking the river and had a wonderful time. Great breakfast, too!

We stayed 5 days in Venice and we enjoyed hospitality of Ca Angeli owners. We had triple room with backyard view and it is great choice for those who like privacy and quiet room. Don´t worry, you don´t miss the Grand Canal view because windows of dining room let you watch the traffic and hustle on the Canal. Other highlight... More

Recommended to us by previous travellers who had stayed 12 months earlier. Wasn't disappointed and very happy we chose to stay here. Quiet room, lovely bathroom, breakfast nice and free wifi had excellent connection. Close to Rialto bridge and boat stop. Lots of good restaurants and bars close by. Easy walking distance to attractions. Would stay again if returning to... More

We stayed here for 3 nights right around Christmas time. Upon checking in the man was very kind, showed us a map of Venice and gave us advice on places to eat. He showed us up to our spacious room and gave us an introduction to the basics. The breakfast, which is included, was very very good. The breakfast room... More

We were thrilled with our choice of hotel. Deluxe rooms are spacious and furnished in traditional style. Our room overlooked the grand canal and was just gorgeous. Breakfast was fresh and good. All staff , especially Dim were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent - away from all the crowds but close to the Rialto Bridge so easy to... More

We relied on TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. The place is in a very convenient area. Around there are shops, markets, shops, etc. Do not be afraid by the room booklet which tells you that you should not place your personal things in the fridge, we did it with permission and it was OK. The room is albeit small... More

We stayed here on the recommendation of friends and were extremely pleased! The location is great - short walking distance to lots of restaurants, shops, etc. - and 20 minute walk to St. Marks Square. We shared the family room (4 women) and had plenty of space. Breakfast was good and dining room has a lovely view of the Grand... More

This hotel is excellent! My boyfriend and I stayed in Ca'Angeli for five nights in November and had a wonderful time in Ca'Angeli. The hotel staff were excellent, and always on hand to help with any queries. Our room was amazing – spacious, spotlessly clean, with plenty of storage space for clothes, etc., as well as a very decent-sized bathroom.... More

Very clean and charming room. Excellent breakfast, with organic products and a view to the main canal. Helpful and gentle staff. Very close to San Silvestre vaporetto station. Definitely a great choice.

This is our second trip to this lovely B&B. Located close to a ferry stop, it's just a 6-minute walk to the Rialto through side streets--though if you look at a map it won't seem so at first, but don't be fooled by the map. This is a central area for heading toward the Rialto or Accademia area in the... More

Staying in San Polo

Neighborhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
