Ca' Angeli is such a pleasant B&B off the beaten path in Venice. It was so nice to stay in such a quiet part of Venice. It was easy to get to Piazza San Marco if we wanted to but it was much more pleasant to stay in the San Polo sestiere. The staff could not have been more helpful... more

My teen daughters and I stayed at Ca'Angeli in a large room (we could have slept 4 easily - not normal in Europe). It is clean, off the beaten path and has views of the grand canal. We could walk to everything, but come home to quiet. When we had to leave (very early) to catch our train, they sent... more

This was among the best places we stayed in Europe. Our room was perfectly clean and cozy, the staff was helpful, and the breakfast was superb. This is undoubtedly the best deal in Venice. more

First off, Ca'Angeli served by far the best breakfast of any of the B&B's on our recent trip to Italy. A proponent of the slow food movement, the owner encouraged a freshly cooked, extensive breakfast, including meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurt, and freshly baked breads, rolls and sweets. Our favenous boys (ages 12 and 19) ate well and happily at Ca'Angeli.... more

We stayed in the Junior Suite with two windows off the Grand Canal and skylights above the front door area. This room had the same view as the common breakfast area. (If you want to save some money, you can stay in another room and enjoy the view from here. However, we absolutely loved opening the windows to watch the... more

This hotel, while pricey (as is all of Venice) was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were a generous size-- ours faced out to the garden courtyard, which was often filled with cats, to our delight. The room included a large bathroom, complete with tub, which I loved using after a hard day of pounding pavements. The breakfast was... more

We stayed two nights at Ca' Angeli @ 180 Euros/night. It was a little more than we wanted to pay, but Venice hotels were booked solid for Biennale activities, and in hindsight we were delighted with our experience there. It was well worth it, and was a classy conclusion to our stay in Italy. The room was super-clean and decorated... more

We stayed in two rooms for several nights in May 2009. Ca Angeli is a lovely inn, and the location on the canal is great. We could hear the gondoliers singing "Volare" late into the evening. The day manager, Ambra, is fantastic. She's very knowledgeable about her city, and she gave us some great restaurant recommendations. The breakfast is fresh... more

Stayed at Ca' Angeli for one night in early May. What can I say..fantastic hotel, tastefully decorated and a fantastic view of the Grand Canal from the hotel's lounge. Staff excellent - friendly and knowledgeable. We booked a terrace room. Bit more expensive but well worth the investment as our hotel terrace had a view of the Grand Canal. The... more

I stayed at this hotel with my husband and two children. We had one pretty big room in which everyone was comfortable, which is not always easy to find in Europe. I love the location of this hotel, on a quiet side street but very close to the major tourist sites. The breakfast room was very pleasant, and there is... more
