The hotel front's the Grand Canal in the San Paolo District. The location is great with easy access to great restaurants and the vaparetto. The hotel accomodations in were nice---but felt like we were in a museum---look, but don't touch. Signs were everywhere about no food or beverage of any kind allowed-even though our room had a kitchenette! My husband... more

Make sure you know how to get there. A water taxi will be about 100 euro from the Cruise terminal, the airport or the train station. You can usually split that with another couple. The water taxis will know where Calle del Tragheto de la Madonetta is especially if you tell them it is between the San Silvestro and Sant... more

Just returned from a long weekend in Venice. Ca' Angeli lived up to our expectations from having read the previous reviews. Immaculate rooms in a great location and the breakfasts were indeed delightful. We loved the terrace area - the bedroom was small but who needs more when you can sit out in evening listening to the sounds of life... more

This hotel took us awhile to find, but well worth the trouble. If you have the money, I would suggest the water taxi that would take you to the hotel's private dock. The location was outstanding as it sits right on the Grand Canal and within sight of the Rialto Bridge. We stayed in a spacious two bedroom suite with... more

Vince in August was hot and full of tourists, so it was great to have this little gem of a place to come back to, between outings. Our standard double was comfortably spacious, so was the bathroom, which was gleaming clean. Breakfast was not only fabulous in terms of its offerings--croissants, rolls, cookies, hearty breads and a plate of prosciutto,... more

Our stay at Ca Angeli was perfect. We were a family of 5 and stayed in the suite, it was spacious, had AC...it honestly was perfect for what we needed. The bathroom was very clean, towels were nice and fluffy and we were given lots of extra pillows. Breakfast was great - incredibly fresh, and the view was fantastic. It... more

Found this through TA. It's all you could ask for in Venice. Great, quiet location. Walking to all attractions. Great value for on the Grand Canal. Family with teens and grandparents. Perfect for all. Should have free internet, though. more

Our family of four and 2 friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff was always helpful, the rooms were lovely and clean, bathrooms large and what a wonderful breakfast! The Breakfast room itself was a joy to be in at all times of the day for the wonderful canal views you had by sitting in the window seats and... more

A perfect location in the centre of Venice. The city was extremely busy and when we arrived at the accommodation it was in a peaceful and quiet area even though only a minutes walk from the centre. Clean, tidy and a place full of character, we couldn't recommend it enough. more
