The B&B has a great location, just 2 minutes from St. Mark's Square. The room was big, clean, quiet, and comfortable. It also has AC which is important depending in the time of year you visit. Riccardo was great. He gave us recommendations for activities and places to eat and also gave us pointers on how to avoid being taken... more

First things first, make sure you have your camera for the 'compulsory' photo on departure with Ricardo - it will be added to his growing collection of souvenirs adorning the walls of his breakfast room ! Second recommendation - check out his website before departure and memorise/print out the directions to his B&B; unless you know Venice, you'll struggle to... more

My son, my husband and I recently spent 2 weeks in Italy (June 1 -14, 2009). The last 2 days of our trip were in Venice at Corte Campana. Let me start by saying that everything people have said about Riccardo is true. I mixed up the ferry stop at which Riccardo was to meet us and ended up getting... more

I stayed at Corte Campana in April 2009 with a female friend. We had a lovely room with twin beds that were SO comfortable. The B&B is in Riccardo's family home. Lovely rooms, Merona chandeliers, and floors. The room looked out on a courtyard with flowering trees, and was very pleasant and quiet, despite being so close to St. Mark's... more

When in Venice, the Corte Campana B & B is the only place I’ll stay. It was an incredible opportunity to “live” in a Venetian home while exploring the streets and canals of Venezia. Location! Location! Location! This 600-year old home is minutes from San Marco, yet located on a very quiet residential street. The beautiful building has spacious, clean... more

I stayed here in March for two nights wth four friends. It was the prefect place to stay on our final stop in Italy. The B&B is a five minute walk from St. Mark's Square but is located on a very quite street away from all the tourists. Riccardo really made us feel at home. In fact, the B&B felt... more

When my wife and I took her sister and our niece with us to Italy, we were wide open to expanding our horizons, living like locals, and truly trying to experience culture. We came to Venice unprepared for the long walks and many bridges that made our bags heavier at every step. Yet we arrived at the Corte Campana B&B... more

A B&B should be comfortable, cozy, charming, easy, and exciting. And Riccardo has succeeded in making his place just that. After reading nothing but compliments about Riccardo and Corte Campana I was prepared to be pleased with our stay but maybe not as ga-ga as the other guests, since this was not our first trip to Venice. However, I'm here... more

My husband and I stayed at Corte Campana in March 2008. Riccardo is such a gracious host, he makes everyone feel at ease who comes to his bed and breakfast, he is more than willing to answer questions and makes every effort possible to make people's stay enjoyable. We LOVED Venice, and the fact that Corte Campana was so close... more

We stayed for two delightful nights with Riccardo in October 2008. All the rave reviews really were true to their word. Riccardo is a vivacious Venetian who embodies all the hospitality of Italia. He made our stay one of our favorites over our three week trip. Although it can be a little hard to find in the dark, when you’re... more
