Just returned froma 10 day trip to Italy. While in Venice, we stayed at Corte Campana because of all the excellent recommendations on Trip Advisor and Rick Steves' website. It was a wonderful choice. The location was terrific.....just around the corner from St. Mark's Square. I thought we would have trouble finding it as we were arriving after dark....but the... more

We picked this B&B after spending hours reading reviews and trying to find something reasonable. Our requirements are that the B&B is clean, safe and a good place to sleep at night. (We visit locations to see the sights, not to hang out in the room.) We finally decided upon this at 125 euros/night. Ric was great to work with... more

Just returned from my 3rd trip to Italy and while in Venice, my family and I stayed with at the Corte Campana. I read all the reviews about Ricardo and how helpful and welcoming he is and they are all TRUE!! My father, sister, and 11 yr. old niece found him to be friendly, enthusiastic, and very helpful. I loved... more

We stayed one night with Riccardo before a cruise and 4 nights afterwards. We got lost (like everyone) trying to find the B&B, and my son asked a guy at the corner for directions and the guy said "I am Riccardo! I have been looking for you!" Our flight had been late, our luggage lost, so we were very late... more

We only wished we could have stayed longer. The location is central, and Riccardo is full of helpful information. The place he recommends for cicchetti (Venetian hors d'oeuvres) is excellent. When we were leaving, he called around to other hotels until we had a place to stay in our next city and booked it for us. more

THis is a perfect location for anyone who wants to be in the middle of it all, be able to walk everywhere, but still have a quiet room facing towards a coartyard looking over some rooftops. Riccardo is just the best. He is always available for anything you may need, either call him, or just talk to him at breakfast.... more

Venice was our last stop on a 2 week trip through Italy. Ric made us feel like we had come home to Venice. With his fantastic personality & wit he makes every guest feel like family. The room was large and comfortable. There was internet available in the community living room along with a refrig to keep our wine cool.... more

My husband and I stayed at Corte Campana for two nights on our honeymoon earlier this month (Sept. 2009). Riccardo was a WONDERFUL host. After talking with him, we decided to chuck our tentative itinerary and go with his recommendations, which did not disappoint. The B&B is in a great location (between St. Mark's square and the Rialto Bridge). One... more

When you go to Venice, stay with Riccardo. We were lost finding this place (hey - it's Venice - what do you expect) and Riccardo was down on the street looking for us because we were late. We stayed 3 nights. Great location near St. Mark's and the place is nicely furnished and charming. Riccardo is fun and very helpful. more

The B&B has a great location, just 2 minutes from St. Mark's Square. The room was big, clean, quiet, and comfortable. It also has AC which is important depending in the time of year you visit. Riccardo was great. He gave us recommendations for activities and places to eat and also gave us pointers on how to avoid being taken... more
