We stayed one night with Riccardo before a cruise and 4 nights afterwards. We only wished we could have stayed longer. The location is central, and Riccardo is full of helpful information. The place he recommends for cicchetti (Venetian hors d'oeuvres) is excellent. When we were leaving, he called around to other hotels until we had a place to stay in our next city and booked it for us. more

THis is a perfect location for anyone who wants to be in the middle of it all, be able to walk everywhere, but still have a quiet room facing towards a coartyard looking over some rooftops. When you go to Venice, stay with Riccardo. We were lost finding this place (hey - it's Venice - what do you expect) and Riccardo was down on the street looking for us because we were late. The B&B has a great location, just 2 minutes from St. Mark's Square. The room was big, clean, quiet, and comfortable. It also has AC which is important depending in the time of year you visit.
