We decided to stay to Aman Canal Grande for a quiet & special weekend (birthday of our best friend). We enjoyed beautiful sun and temperatures were warm enough to have lunch outside. Actually mid-March was the perfect mix of good weather and few tourists. Transfer was arranged by the concierge, everything was smooth and easy. Arrival at the hotel pier... More

Aman's are infamous not just for their luxurious accommodation, but also for their sky high prices. However, prices at this hotel are verging on being ludicrous. For instance, during the Carnival, basic rooms soar upwards of Euro 1,600 a night.. and that's for a room.. for a suite.. sell your home! So are these sky-high prices justified.. or is this... More

The building really is beautiful, in an astounding location. The service is impeccable. But this hotel is seriously overpriced. Moreover, the hotel is filled with airport lounge furniture, oddly, given the beauty of the building.

The location of this hotel is already quite something but when you enter the property and its incredible history and heritage the surprises keep coming at every corner and room you enter.. It is a feast for the eyes and it is impossible not to appreciate what it has been done to preserve or restore this beautiful property whole up... More

My wife and I had a three night stay here in December 2014 (room 12). The Aman Venice is situated in a 1560 era family mansion on the Grand Canal. The 24-room hotel is a maze of passageways and public rooms, with seemingly almost as many little lounge areas as there are bedrooms. Much of the original features have been... More

I have stayed in many Aman hotels and have always left each hotel longing to return to each and every one of the hotels. I will certainly return to Venice (I have been many times) but I will certainly not stay at the Aman again. Staff were friendly and professional like always. Aman's trademark attention to detail and the quiet... More

We stayed not long after this property opened. We are regular Aman guests. This property is incredible. The rooms are a little smaller than expected at an Aman, but this is well compensated by the vast array of "public" spaces, which by my count were more than one per room. If you are going to Venice, and want to stay... More

Can't wait to come back here! It has a garden! A garden in Venice is quite rare. I stayed there with my husband and friends. We spent every night in the garden drinking wine and chatting. I loved the feeling of serenity. The combination of antique facade and modern room interior works so well.

Being devoted Aman loyalists, I was once again amazed how Aman was able to translate their signature style and service to Venice! We visited from Oct 10-13. We arrived on the VS Orient Express and was greeted by the wonderful Giovanna as we descended from the rail car. She expertly managed our luggage transfers to a waiting boat that deposited... More

Before Clooney got married here, this remodeled palace was featured prominently in recent travel magazines as a top bar for LOTS of reasons. While accessible by water on the canal (front), the face of the property in the back (by land) is unfriendly --a tall wall and gate with a small buzzer identifying the property as the Aman, plus the...
