Impossible for late check ins! If you are coming from the airport, you can never be sure how long it will take to get suitcases, taxi etc. Then, you have to walk through the Venetian streets to find the apartment. INo-one can have any idea how long any of this will take, nor what time you can guarantee getting there.... More

Rented two apartments which were advertised as air conditioned. We found the office and Sebastian let us have the keys to both apartments early. So far so good. When we were able to get into the apartments things started to go downhill. The third floor apartment air conditioner not only didn't work, it wasn't even connected! We went to the... More

We stayed in an appartment near Piazza San Marco. Unfortunately the apparently was quite a distance from the office to check in so this made a long day of traveling even harder. The apartment was quite difficult to locate as it was in a very small alleyway, made even smaller by construction. I had booked a room with three beds... More

This is a company which owns and operates a few serviced apartments in Venice. I think it depends very much on which apartment that you may get assigned. The one we had was a bit away from any attraction, and about 10 minutes' walk from the nearest water bus (vaporetto) pier. It was a little challenging to find the place,... More

From the check-in, to delivering our luggage, to the quality of the accommodation this was an absolute beautiful stay. The location was superb and the comfort perfect. Sebastian ensured that we found our apartment rental easily and arranged for luggage transfer. Also very helpful with tips for the city.

Me and my wife went to Venice for 3 days/2 nights and stayed in the Ca D'Oro 1 bedroom apartment. Location was OK but logistics to get there and many extra charges were not clear before doing our booking through their website (they charge for towels, bed sheets €5 per person per night), specifically the check in after 8pm cost... Good size apartment and location, but they didnt tell us we needed to pay for the towels and bed sheets... That should be at least specified in bookings page... No wi-fi iin this apartment even when it was promised. Very quiet and clean.

The apartment itself is good, with almost complete facilities. However, we had a very bad experience with this apartment because they have billed me twice on my credit card. If I did not check my bank statement, I won't be able to know since no one inform me ( from booking. Com & This apartment). I have called several times... More

We reached Venice at around 6.30 PM. After meeting Sabastian, to our surprise we had to go to another place. Difficult to find the place, carry your luggage to third floor, all alone in the building (as other appts are for office use). Not suitable for family. A lot of hidden charges, like you need to pay for Towel /... More

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
