The best parts of Casa Arte are the location and the accommodating staff. The staff clearly tries hard and is very accommodating and helpful. The price was fair based on the location in one of the few truly unique places on earth. We stayed in one of the family apartments in the annex that was quite a bit more spacious... More

If you're looking for affordability in a great location in Venice this is it. Location is always important but in Venice it can be critical. This small hotel is located just 100 yards from the northern foot of the Accademia Bridge. Almost everyone in Venice can direct you to the bridge and there are only two locations in Venice with... The room was adequate for our one night in Venice. Pretty basic but in a good location. Breakfast provided a good start to the day. Biggest problem was that the air conditioner dripped while it was running so by morning the carpet was quite wet. I hadn't been expecting anything super great so I wasn't really disappointed, we were just... More

The room I got was better than I was expecting, it had a kitchenette, sofas and a little balcony that was right above a canal. It was old but ok. Unfortunately we notice that there was a school right in front of the room, because Saturday morning we were waken up by the loud voices of the italian kids. The... More

Convenient location, but massive mold issue all over the room. Staff did not care, and no other rooms available. Bathroom tub was rotten and decayed. gross place. The location was great though.... not sure. very torn about this location. There was an egregious amount of mold. yuck.

This little pension/ hotel is basic. We had a room in the building next door, on the first floor (no lifts) with a shared bathroom. The room was a decent size, with the. Basics, including a tv and towels. The double bed was comfortable but basic. We walked from Plaza Roma station, it took 45 minutes (and lots of bridges).... More

I don't understand the bad reviews. The location is great, its very clean, rooms are good and the staff is nice and helpfull. The bed is good, there is wifi and the rooms are airconditioned. The breakfast is very simple, but its not an expensive hotel, especially for Venice. Prices are very high in Venice and this hotel is good... More

Some reviews I read are really unfair with this hotel and staff: staff at front desk was very helpful and nice, specially the young man that stays over night. Room size excelent considering the city overall options and location simply wonderful, next to everything. Just had some trouble finding the hotel when we arrived because in their website the vaporetto... More

This hotel was not a hotel more an bed&breakfast. Room was very dirty and dust floor was full of hair. Matras was complete worn out. Breakfast quality low as possible bread. Airconditioning did not work properly We did not get fresh towels. Bath room smell bad and ventilation did not work. Poor hotel never going back to that hotel again.

After reading some of the reviews we were reticent about following through with our reservation, however, we were pleasantly surprised with our visit last week. We booked a suite as we were traveling with our family. This is a historic hotel, hence the building itself is several hundred years old, which lends itself to the ambience of the experience. We...
