5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. The hotel is attractive and well maintained with very friendly helpful staff. It is around 15 min walk from St Marks, Rialto and Accademia so well positioned. You can stay closer, but this was so quiet and peaceful. The receptionist gave us many restaurant suggestions and we enjoyed them - Riviera is excellent... More

We managed a four day, three night break in Venice just recently and stayed at the glorious Corte di Gabriella Hotel. Not only was the location just perfect less, than 10 mins from St Mark's square but the hotel itself was a complete delight. The owner, Gianluca is a lot of fun and aims to please at all times. The... More

We stayed at Corte Di Gabriela for the first time on Easter weekend and had a excellent experience. The property is beautiful, room was clean, well decorated and the right size. Breakfasts were delicious especially the coffee. Hotel is a location close to water taxi/bus stop, and walking distance to most sites and many restaurants. Service makes this hotel stand... More

Fantastic hotel, wonderful service and great location. The great service started at the airport with a from hotel booked watertaxi. A driver took us from the arrivalarea with a shuttle down to the nice boat. At the vaporetto stop Sant Angelo a man from the hotel met us and helped us with the bags the short way to the hotel.... We accidentally came past this hidden hotel in beautiful Venice and were invited to an inspection. Beautiful, stylish rooms and enough space for your belongings. If you want to spend around 300 euros per night - spend them here. The location is also fabulous and the art gallery Accademia with its important paintings is just a few minutes away. If... More

We stayed over the easter weekend, Friday through Monday and had an amazing time. The hotel is so conveniently located for everything in the San Marco area, the rialto and also a very short walk from the Vaporetto stop. Everything we wanted to see was walking distance and even if you get a little lost in the narrow alleys and... More

Our family of four stayed in the suite for 3 nights. The suite is more like a small apartment, located in a separate building. The alleys were rather dark when we returned from dinner. But the apartment is secured. It has a comfortable double bed and a kitchenette. The "extra beds" for the children is actually a double sofa bed... More

My wife and I stayed five nights at Corte di Gabriela in the San Marco district of Venice at the end of March 2015. This is a great boutique hotel. It is small (just 9 guest rooms, I think); clean; quiet; stylish; and well-situated -- near two pretty squares (S. Angelo and S. Stefano), with a fairly short walk to... More

I chose this hotel after doing some research for a short trip to Venice with my husband. The reviews looked good so we gave it a shot. We are so happy that we did. Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
