This is right in the middle of Venice, a short walk from just about everything. Right on a canal (although pretty much everything is), I'd say about half way between St. Marks and the Rialto Bridge, above a restaurant. We had a 2 bedroom room for the 3 of us (there are not a lot of places that have a... More

We stayed with a family of 4 in a spacious family room and really enjoyed our stay. Our room had a private entrance which was kind of nice for coming / going without having to walk through the shared sitting room. The room itself was beautiful with classic furniture - there was a bedroom and then a separate room that... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in mid-October, 2014. While the location is great, the room was spacious and the host was nice, there are few things that really made it so we would not stay here again. - First, I emailed in advance to make sure I could get a canal view room. Host confirmed, and that's what I... More

This is a cozy B&B right in the heart of Venice. The location is great with quick short walks to S. Marco and Rialto. The owner is very nice. He does not speak to much English but does well. He is very helpful and goes out of his way to get you the information you need.

A privately-run B&B in a historic Venetian house and a truly charming place! I love how authentic feel of the house and antique decor, and comfort provided my the modern conveniences (WiFi, air conditioning, elevator, and, of course, espresso machine in the breakfast room) merge so well there. Superb location - very central (5 min walk from Rialto and San... More

We have recently returned from two nights at B&B San Firmino. The location was excellent, although difficult to find when our iPhones told us the wrong building! We arrive by train and then took the number 2 water bus one stop to Rialto Bridge. The building is only 5 minutes walk from there but unfortunately we kept getting lost because... More

Privately owned little place, centrally located. Luciano, the owner only has a few rooms but they are beautifully decorated and clean. He was very helpful and always ready to tell us the shortcuts and most economical "locals" way the go. Quiet, rustic 15c., I believe. Sits next to a canal so great view and in the evening live saxophone music... More

This is a great location for walking anywhere in Venice. Our room was large charmingly furnished and we even had a fridge. We looked over a small canal and my favorite thing to do was enjoy prosecco in the evening and watching the gondolas go by. We were right off the breakfast room as others mentioned we woke up early... More

This is a small and unique place in a good location with big rooms and reasonable price for venice. There are two problems though - the owner does not speak good english and it is sometimes problematic in a place like venice where help is needed. Second thing is our room was entered through the breakfast room and in the... More

My family booked the larger room facing the Campo Santa Maria. Cafés, vendors, and 5 min walks to San Marco or Rialto. It's an ideal location. Our stay included free WiFi, modern bathroom, fridge, a dining room with a comfortable couch and bedroom that could sleep 3-4 people comfortably. This room also offered it's own private entry which I loved.... More
