We've taken a ferry to Venice from Poreć, Croatia and spent a night in that hotel before getting back the next day. Everything was nice: the guy at the reception desk, air conditioning, beds, shower. It's even calm at night! (I guess, it's a valuable characteristic for a Venetian hotel of this price)

Considering most Venice hotels are quite expensive (and generally not that great), this was a happy medium between price & look!! It's not the most grand of hotels but it's a nice, friendly modest-sized stop off :-) You can hear most of what's going on at reception from some rooms but all in all really happy with this hotel!

The location was great. Close to the main road and a couple of excellent wine shops and beer bars. Close to a water taxi also. And the service was not bad but spoke very poor english (which is still better than my Italian). They had already removed the AC for the winter. And the room was on the main level... More

We stayed four nights in November. We found everything to be what we had hoped for and more. We had a stylishly furnished, compact but adequately sized room with an en-suite bathroom to match. Everything worked, it was always nice and warm and the water in the bathroom was always hot. The towels were changes daily. The owner and the staff... More

This hotel is in a good location, 10 mins walk from the train station and no more than 20 min from the other main attractions. It is also 30 seconds away from a street of bars frequented mainly by locals, with a great atmosphere and reasonable cost drinks. We were in a ground floor room, on a side street away... More

Our family of 4 stayed there for 3 nights early August. It is a very small family run hotel with only one floor and a couple rooms. The quadruple room we booked was very small. It had very little room to walk and space for luggage. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived around 9:30pm. We... More

Henry Hotel did not disappoint. The deal I got off booking.com was affordable for my friend and I. We wanted a cheap, clean base - after all when you're in Venice you won't be spending much time in the Hotel. Lorenzo was an absolute gem and a lovely host! He made sure we were comfortable and happy. The hotel is... More

We stayed at hotel henry for 2 nights. The staff is very nice, very helpful. It is close to all the main attractions: piazza san marco, train station, rialto bridge. The hotel is located in a side street, near the main avenue, not easy to find so make sure to google it and print the detailed map. We had a... More

The staff at the reception were very friendly, even though we arrived around 8pm for checkin. The room we had for the first night which was cheaper was spacious, huge clean bathroom. The room we had for the second night which was more expensive, was smaller ac was very noisy. However was very clean. Beware of the mosquitos!!

Let me qualify my review first, by saying that I have traveled extensively for years internationally and we have a home in the US and in Europe, so we are not first timers, staying in Euro hotels, nor am I just an angry, demanding customer. Our reservation was for 150.00 us dollars per night for two nights in May. For... More
