The hotel has a great location right at city centre. Quality of it is worth the price, especially you could get a late deal on booking.com. Free wifi, bathrooms and rooms are clean and modern. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. You can get there by taxi on water, there is also a street entrance, more than one.... More

I fully recommend this hotel. I can in with my wife and 3 years daughter and enjoyed it. It's very clean, spacious rooms, and very good location; 3 min walk from the San Marco main square, and few 3 min to Realto bus dock. The restaurant on terrace is elegant.

Again great experience! We were there 3 years ago and we're not disappointed to have renewed the experience. Rooms are contemporary and super clean. The staff is very welcoming. The hotel is very well located (5-10 minutes walking from San Marco Square and Rialto Bridge). Breakfast is very complete and includes everything you could expect. Thanks to the staff. We... More

So we stayed one night just before taking our cruise - 3 couples +1 child - and it was an averagely decent experience. Room was slightly larger than expected and that was a bonus. However since was high tide, the water taxi couldn't take us to the doorstep so we had to lug our luggage. The front desk also arranged... More

This hotel was amazing like the city Venezia. I like the colours of my superior room. The view was nice. the room itself was very clean and spacious. Amenities are available. the hotel taxi was there to get you from the port. It was a lovely experience and surely I will go there again.

Pretty hotel 90's modern, very clean in a great location. I recommend upgraded to a suite. It's a large room with a beautiful view of the canal. The front desk staff are excellent, knowledgeable, fluent English and very friendly. I would recommend this hotel.

I was recommended by a dear friend and live the hotel but the room we go was awful! Out fault for not wanting to be an awful American complaining. But a room that was not requested with accommodations was difficult. My husband said to accept it but he couldn't sleep. I am sorry we weren't clear and asked for a... More

Brought my son to Venice as a graduation present! Hotel was in a great location, slap bang in the middle of St Mark's & the Realto! Was first shown to a disabled room, which I refused, so was upgraded to a deluxe room which was superb, king size bed, marble bathroom, desk & seating area, the only problem was air... More

We had a nice experience here and thought the value was good. The location was excellent and the rooms were large. The breakfast was the only thing that really needed improvements. The quality of the food was subpar, for example, runny unappealing eggs, warm milk and yogurt which made us doubt freshness, and canned fruit.

We stayed here for 2 nights. It was very nice. Lovely room, huge bathroom and very comfortable. Nice views over the canals towards St marks square. Comfy bed, large bath and separate shower. All decorated very nicely. This hotel isn't amazing, but is very pleasant. Would definitely recommend taking a private water taxi if you're coming from the airport. Also... More

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
