My girlfriend and I have just returned from an absolutely delightful trip to Venice and our stay at Corte Vecchia was very much part of the experience. Antonella was very helpful prior to arriving with excellent communication and her directions meant we had no problems finding the guesthouse, which was an easy 5 minute walk from the Zattere water bus... Stayed here for five nights last May. Loved the location in the quiet neighbourhood of Dorsoduro, where you're away from the noisy crowds. It's calm and feels very authentique, as opposite to touristy (in a good way). This doesn't mean Corte Vecchia is isolated or far from the main attractions in Venice, which can be reached by a pleasant walk... More

Venice is an enchanting city that can be occasionally maddening due to crowds and chaos. Corte Vecchia is a quiet respite from the madness and is in a nice neighborhood of good restaurants and cafes, shops and other services. It is only a 10 minute walk to the Accademia and the related vaporetto stop. It was terrific to have the... More

We have just enjoyed our 2nd stay at this delightful B and B. It is located in a quiet, pleasant area very close to Zattere where we like to stroll and catch the Vaporetto over to San Giorgio Maggiore and Giudecca, two of our favourite parts of Venice. The breakfast served on a trolley in your room is delicious, and... More

Had a great couple of days here. The location is ideal for most of venice's main sites; guggenheim and accademia galleries are especially close. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, recommending some brilliant restaurants. The help-yourself grappa in the lounge was a lovely touch!

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting Venice. Having visited the city previously it was nice to stay in a less touristy area. Antonella was very helpful , providing us with good restaurant recommendations and booking a water taxi for our return trip to the airport. We stayed in the green room, which had a bathroom across the landing... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Venice. We stayed in the red room which has a queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom. Bed was VERY comfortable and the room is pleasantly furnished. Accademia is located a short walk or ferry ride from the action (St Mark's Basilica etc) but is in a quiet area... More

Corte Vecchia is one of the residences that take up one side of a large open area where children play and the neighbors gather. Very nice considering most walkways in Venice are 1/4 to 1/2 its size. The location is great and Antonella is a wonderful hostess giving you restaurant recommendations, directions, help with getting to the airport, anything you... More

Corte Vecchia is a lovely little Venitian B&B in the heart of the fantastic Accademia neighborhood, that is very reasonably priced. Although centrally located, the house is situated away from the crowds, on a very quiet street. The house, a beautiful historical Venetian building, offers three lovely rooms, two doubles and a single. We stayed in the Green Room, which... More
