We just stayed two nights in the superior room which has a balcony overlooking the Grand Canal to Rialto Market. Amazing views and atmosphere. A tronchetto right next to the hotel takes you across the canal for 2 euros which is much cheaper than the gondolas and more fun. Great and helpful hotel staff, nice selection for breakfast. A great... More

Foscari Palace was neither good nor bad, simply mediocre. While I realize, hotel prices in Venice may be high, it was a poor value. Staff were helpful, but seemed overworked not terribly happy. Location is great. Max of 20 minute walk to anywhere you might want to go. Room was spacious but "cold". Breakfast was very crowded and mediocre, even... More

We booked our stay directly with the hotel and were offered a fantastic deal at the time of year we wanted to go. Hotel is in a great location vaporetta runs from just outside main entrance across the Grand Canal to the fish and fruit market for 2€ a person. Trip itself is an experience! Hotel has a roof terrace... More

We've just returned from a four night stay at the Foscari Palace and, based on value for money, I'd say this hotel is fantastic and much better than we expected!! We stayed in a standard double which was very clean, spacious and comfortable and had a very large en suite with double sinks and a bath - which was a... More

We stayed at Foscari Palace hotel in November and loved it, it was clean and well positioned to walk everywhere. The breakfasts were ample more than you could eat and a reasonable variety. the staff were polite and helpful. For a similar location in any other major city you would be paying twice as much. We travel to see the... More

Our recent stay at Foscari Palace was a very pleasant one which contributed greatly to our superb weekend in Venice. We got what we expected, good service from very pleasant staff, excellent variety of food at breakfast daily, fantastic location. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious, improvements could be made quickly and easily if the spa baths worked and there were... More

We have stayed at this hotel before and looked forward to our return. The hotel is lovely, and the room was great. A couple of "critiques: the jacuzzi did not work in our room, and we heard this feedback from another guest as well. In addition, a couple of the towels were very worn, and I would not expect that... I really don't get it, How does this little dinky dated uncomfortable, unclean hotel have good reviews. i thought i have good taste but maybe "Nice" means something else or "location" is what makes people choose hotels in Venice. So yes the location is great and the view of the grand canal is nice but i expected a lot better... More

I was debating about staying here for my first visit to Venice. I was worried we were to far away from the site. Boy was I wrong. I LOVED this hotel. It was in a great location. I liked how it was not near St Marks square where all the crowds are. But close enough to walk to St Marks... More

This was our second visit to the Foscari Palace. We stayed 2 non-consecutive nights in mid November prior to an after a trip to Istanbul. They very graciously let us leave one of our large suitcases for 4 days prior to our return. We arrived to the hotel via vaporetto (water taxi) which is less than a ½ block away... More
