We stayed at the Foscari Palace shortly after it opened. The hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The room was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast is served in a very elaborate, and elegant fashion. There was more than enough choice. The location is good because as a tourist we were able to see more of... more

We read so many mixed reviews on hotels in Venice, it was hard to know what to expect when we arrived at Foscari Palace, but we were more than happy with the stay. The hotel has a small, elegant feel, with a lovely lobby, and an intimate bar area where the waiter served us complimentary champagne on our arrival. The... more

I am so happy that I found this hotel for our stay in Venice. My husband and I have been to Venice many times with our visitors to Italy (we live here) but have always stayed in various hotels and never liking where we've stayed. This has changed and I can definitely say that we will come back here. The... more

As many other reviews start, I booked this hotel based on the reviews read here. I was a bit skeptical that the place would be as nice as described, but I can say that was! I'm an American living in the UK and I travel ALL the time through Europe for work, so I'm knowledgeable about the standard of rooms... more

Stayed in the Gonzaga Suite, Room 209 for 2 nights Great sized room with 2 small balconies overlooking the Grand Canal Could have spent the whole day gazing at the wonderful scene below. It was interesting how the crowds on vaporetto No. 1 kept waving at us and taking pictures as if we were celebrities. Lovely modern room - huge... more

This was our family's first trip to Venice and my first time booking a hotel based primarily on TripAdvisor reviews, so I was quite apprehensive of what to expect of the Foscari Palace. I really need not have worried at all. The place fulfilled all my expectations and more. We requested 2 rooms for our family of 6, and were... more

You'd have to be very unlucky or very picky to not have a good stay here. Our room had a balcony that looked out on to the street and the grand canal. If you don't have this there is always the roof top terrace that gives a 360 degree view of Vencice. The room was very majestic and well laid... more

Was somewhat hesitant to book at Foscari Palace because the reviews on Tripadvisor had been pretty mixed. However, I decided to take the plunge because I had stayed at another hotel run by the same owner in Rome (La Residenza) and was pleased with that experience. I also met another guest at the hotel who was surprised at how nice... more

Although our main trip was based on the Lido, we spent our first night in Venice at the Foscari Palace and it was wonderful We had a top floor suite, 301, that was huge and well decorated, with its own private roof terrace for relaxing in the evening The staff were really friendly and the breakfast buffet lovely with a... more

We picked this hotel from reviews written on Trip Advisor and Hotels.com., most of them very positive. The Foscari Palace did not disappoint. In fact, it exceeded our expectations! We visited from March 14 through 17. We booked a standard room and were upgraded to a balcony room--the balconies faced the square outside the hotel but still afforded a view... more
