We stayed here recently and would recommend this hotel to travellers. It looks deceptively small from the outside, but is actually quite large. The location is quite central, just a 5min walk from the St. Tamas water-bus stop. Our room was very nice - i believe we were put in a room for 3 persons which was a bonus as... more

Loved it! Location was tricky but actually pretty central if you want to hit most of the town within a couple of days. Staff was great, food was good. more

We just returned from our 4 night stay at Ca' San Polo and we were delighted with the professionalism of the staff. Upon our arrival in Venice we made our way to the hotel by vaporetto and with the help of a street map became hopelessly lost! Please please please google map your directions to this hotel. There are several... more

For a 3 stars hotel, Ca' San Polo is great. The people are very helpful and joyful. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Washrooms were spotless.Breakfast was good. Hotel location is fine. We enjoyed our stay there. more

Great little place in central location - a bit hard to find, though, when you first arrive. On the plus side, the staff is very helpful and pleasant - breakfast is wonderful, bath towels are oversized. Unfortunately, we were unable to unlock the door of the apartment which we had reserved, and had to drag our luggage back to the... more

This was an excellent choice. Granted we only stayed for two days, but a week's stay would have been just as pleasurable. The Ca Polo is run by young people, who seem to spare no expense on quality. The person we talked to was from Padua and told us that the building was 600 years old, which is why the... more

We were two older ladies on our first trip to Venice and found the hotel fairly easily with help of website map and signs on the walls. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. showed us around the hotel while we waited for them to change the beds into twin rather than a double. Breakfast was filling and kept us going... more

We walked from the train station after an overnight trip from Paris. It is not really a 5 minute walk though. We were very tired and lugging our suitcases over 15 bridges only to find we were on the wrong side of the island was frustrating. However a very nice Italian man called the hotel and helped us get proper... more

I booked two "superior" double rooms for myself and another couple. Perhaps the word superior has a different meaning in Italian, but I honestly did not think that the two rooms on the fourth floor (no lift) truly merited that description. Nothing seriously wrong with them, both a reasonable size although not a great deal of space round the bed... more
