Lovely decor, amenities and excellent location - just off San Marco Square. Nice continental breakfast. Beware of offer for "free" water taxi transportation to the Murano glass factories. It's only "free" going to the island - after the fact, you learn you have to find and pay for your return transportation!! more

Five of us (two adults, 3 teenage girls) stayed here for 3 nights in late September. The suite was HUGE and attractive. It was expensive but it was very centrally located by St. Mark's Sq. Breakfast was VERY good, quite a large choice of fruit, yogurt, pastries, cereal. Staff was helpful. Trip to Murano was included and we took it... more

Have stayed here twice before and always been really pleased but must say found this time a little disappointing, booked direct with hotel a Deluxe Suite the same as we have had before but on arrival I note we are actually in a Junior suite while still charged for a Deluxe, also there site does not allow you to enter... more

We stayed here recently with some family and had a fantastic time, the suites were beautiful and the staff made us feel very welcome. We did query why we could not have a iron in our room which they said was because of safety reasons, but they also could not iron our clothes for that evening until the next day!... more

My family of 4 (kids aged 9 & 11) stayed here for 4 nights in late June. Our beautiful apartment was one of 4 or 5 in a separate building. There was no front desk in the actual building but it felt pretty secure nonetheless. The location is marvellous BUT it took us more than an hour to find it.... more

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Torre dell'Orologio Suites. There have been a few changes since the last reviews were written. Reception is now located a short walk from the suites, but is well directed and the breakfast is no longer self catering, but served at a nearby San Marco Hotel. We could not fault... more

Spotlessly clean, pleasant and polite reception staff. Liked being able to make our own breakfast at our chosen time. Good little, but perfectly adequate, kitchenette. Good clean furnishings. Only problem, how hard is it to give directions? i.e. through the clock tower second on left, if you reach small canal you've gone too far, we knew from previous visits roughly... more

I stayed here for two nights after booking through lastminute. I thought it was excellent value for money with large, clean rooms (two bathrooms!) in a very central location (although a bit tricky to find at first). Wouldn't hesitate to recomend to anyone else travelling to venice who wants a central base. Pity the rest of the city wasn't such... more

This was suppose to be the honeymoon we never had. Upon arrival we were informed that our rooms were given away and that we could only stay 2 nights. He upgrade our room. We were suppose to have a king bed and ended up with 2 double size beds. The 2 bathrooms were nice to have. If you want a... more

Basically, the hotel is an excellent choice for those wanting to stay in a central location without paying the price. The rooms are very large and well furbished, the location is superb (no views, but absolutely peaceful) and soundprrofing is faultless. However, there are two drawbacks: breakfast is a do-it-yourself matter (it is not a surprise; the hotel advertsing is... more
