We stayed 4 nights and the location of this hotel/apartment was fantastic, just off S. Marco. I think the location was reflected in the price, as it was not cheap. This was a huge apartment which was part of the hotel and included a nice breakfast. Apartment consisted of Bedroom, Livingroom, Kitchen and Bathroom. In very good order, although didn't... More

Cons: far from train station.do not try to walk with luggage.it is not worth it. Just take #2 vaporotte to s.marco and walk from there.is only 2 minutes. Check in is a little convoluted..you have to check in from hotel royal san marco about 5 min walk. Pros: good breakfast. it's a suite and we got a suite with balcony... More

We rented the two bedroom suite for our family of five for about 500 Euros a night. This was in June during peak season. My parents and sister took another room in the same hotel. The service was friendly but not excellent. The breakfast was forgettable. My parents had to change rooms twice because of broken air conditioning (they said... More

If you are travelling with kids, this Hotel is a good choice. Suites can easily accomodate four adults and Piazza San Marco is barely 50 metres away while San Marco boat station is a 5-7 minutes walk. On the other side, you can walk from hotel to Rialto bridge on the Grand Canal in about 10 minutes. Suites are decent... More

I have been to Venice several times now and have stayed at five stars (Westin Excelsior) and two stars (Rialto Hotel). The Torre dell'Orologio Suites was an awful experience I pray none of you have to deal with. First let me get the "good" out of the way... The location is very central to everything which can be good and... More

Other than location, the hotel had nothing good to offer. Finding the hotel was a challenge. Once we found our hotel, we were greeted by a very rude staff who seemed to get more rude as time went on. The room was dark, beds uncomfortable, looked like a hospital and had the ever ringing clock tower. Outside our suite were... More

Location was great!! With 2 kids, we were happy we didn't have a far walk with luggage to get to hotel! The rooms were pleasantly nice and clean and we had balcony that we enjoyed sitting out on. The bathroom were clean and loaded with towels and toiletries. The buffet breakfast was okay and overall I would highly recommended the... More

This hotel is right off San Marco square, which is a good location. Because of this, I think, they feel like they don't have to try at all for customer service because they will book up anyway. After making our way through a crowded city during a taxi strike, we found out that our suites had no lobby so we... More

The hotel is situated 1h10 min by water bus from the airport. Water bus is 15 euro each way per person or you can take a water taxi for 110 euro and be up to 4 people in it. It's the only way to get there. You exit the water bus to 'San Marco' or 'baccaria' and walk through San... More

The hotel was located centrally next to St Marks Square which was the major benefit of this hotel. The rooms weren't great: no curtains, bathroom was tiny, CNN was the only English channel, no thick curtains over the windows. The bed was very comfortable though and the room was big. We did request a canal view which was granted and... More
