It was so easy to get from Treviso; take the bus, then an easy ten minute walk to the hotel. A friendly welcome and being greeted 'by name' was a great way to begin our 3 day getaway to Venice. Location was perfect, if only we could have controlled the weather! Would stay here again. more

When you arrive or depart Venice you really do need a hotel which is local to "the end of the road", i.e Piazalle Roma, or the main train station, where the water starts and you will be walking, with suitcases trundelling behind you, up and down many steps over the canal bridges. Sitting on the Grande Canal directly across from Stazione Centrale, the location could not have been more convenient nor the hotel staff more welcoming. Upon check-in, we were escorted to our room to ensure "we were pleased with the space," then our bags were delivered. Beautiful marble bathrooms appointed, of course, with Murano chandeliers.
