This is not a fancy hotel..but the room was charming with it's italian cloth wallpaper, old vintage furniture. It was clean and the sheets smelled delightful. The shower and bathroom were clean. There is no elevator so if you plan on bringing tons of luggage don't. It is near the train station. It has a nice breakfast. If you are... More

The Hotel Villa Rosa is perfectly located, being right next to the train station (my son and I arrived by train, so this was ideal), yet set far enough away and back from the crowds to ensure a quiet stay. The hotel is very affordable for Venice, and the included buffet breakfast was adequate, although a hot dish or two... More

This hotel was very cramped and showed the signs of its age. It’s probably hard not to in a place like Venice. The breakfast was just barely OK since we got fresh croissants. The coffee was pretty weak and could have been better if the service included coffee from the Espresso machine rather than an instant coffee machine. We were... More

This is a great little hotel! Location is perfect, rooms are small but adequate, staff is very friendly and helpful, and breakfast is delicious. This is an older hotel and not "fancy" by any means, but it's nice, Wi-Fi works great and it's kept very clean. It is extremely close to the train station, water bus stops and lots of... More

the alley it is located in dark, with no lighting, the staff was rude, and there was no service.A simple request for ice resulted in being told to go to a restaurant down the street and ask them for some.I thought that was outrageous, and told them,so you don't have ice even though you told me to come back for it.An expensive item went... This hotel was a small hop right off the main street. The room was exceptionally quaint and the balcony let us have a private dining with the grandest view. Service was top notch, they answered all our questions accurately and provided great advice. Breakfast was superb. I will stay at this hotel again.

The location was excellent considering it was a 3 minute walk from the train station. Most of the staff was nice though the lady that checked us in seemed annoyed that we were disturbing her google searching session. The room was clean and modern. I was actually surprised by it considering it was a two star hotel. It looked very... More

First time in Venice! Very cute hotel- we almost missed the street after a short walk from the train station. Great location to water taxi, bus station and train station. Front desk staff friendly and very helpful with directions, meals and taxi schedules. Room was small but reasonable and very clean. Bathroom was the nicest on our trip! Seemed like... More

Very close to Santa Lucia ST you'll find this wonderful hotel, family owned in a relaxing area right off the main crowded streets. I stay in Villa Rosa for business purposes and whoever has been here under my suggestion surely agree that this is a great place for short-long stay!

Lovely Venetian house with quaint staircases and homely feel. Excellent location near train station and rest of Venice to explore. Turn left as you come out of entrance down stairs of station. Walk down bustling road and second narrow alley to the left. Go about 100m down alley you will see Villa Rosa Sign. Rooms are adequate and clean. No... More
