This was our second visit to the Villa Rosa and we chose it again because of the pleasant experience we had the first time there. The location is perfect for experiencing the sights of Venice. We requested a room on the first floor as they don't have a lift, although the concierge did help us with our bags. Although a... More

A small hotel in Venice. We stayed in a triple and the stay was ok. The hotel does not have a lift and our A/c leaked. They tried to fix it but it was still leaking. On the plus side, the location is great. Extremely close the the rail station - No need for water taxi. The reception staff is... More

Not far from the stationand close to the vaporetto stop for the airport but tucked away from the hustle and bustle is this little family run hotel. The staff are second to none with their courtesy and willingness to help. Breakfasts are really good and they even serve hard boiled eggs! There are plenty of great restaurants nearby as well.... My second time at Villa Rosa, a peaceful, modest family ran sweet hotel at the heart of Cannaregio near Lista da Spagna, along the narrow side street of Misericordia. Very convenient especially for those travelling to Venice with the train as it is just a short 3 min. walk away, also for those like us driving with a car since... More

Stayed one night there in June. Walked from Piazzale Roma people mover station and got assistance of a porter for our bags. Arrived before the check in time, dropped our bags and went to Murano/Burano and checked in later. The person who was there at the reception in the particular morning was very friendly and helpful, invited us to get... More

We arrived close to midnight and had a difficult time finding the hotel. The night staff did not speak English, so we were on our own trying to find it in the dark. Luckily, a local sent us down the right path (side street with narrow passage). We enjoyed the hotel room once we were more alert the next day.... More

Easy walk from the train station. The walk way from the main street is about 6 feet wide. You need to ask a local where to turn left as you walk from the train station to the hotel. Front desk personnel were helpful and friendly. Air conditioning was very efficient and the bathroom facilities were modern. No lift but easy... More

Given the high prices in Venice I spent time looking around for good budget accommodation and chose here. Unfortunately we had a very short stay in Venice so I needed somewhere near the train station. I was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Room was small but clean and bathroom was modern. Breakfast was small but eggs and yogurt available... More

I stayed 4 nights here recently and it couldn't have been more convenient to the train station (2-3 minute walk) and water bus docks which are right in front of the station. It is down a little "alley way" so is off the busy main street on the canal, but just a few steps from the hotel door you are... More

This hotel was booked by a vendor in the information booth outside the train station. We enjoyed the hotel room. It was quiet, clean and affordable. It was on a side street that was not too far from the train station. We had slight difficulty finding it but with a little help from a near by shop keeper, we were... More
