The Residenza Cannaregio was just perfect. The first stop on the waterbus from the airport and then a short walk - not difficult to find. The hotel is clean and quiet. We had a big deluxe room on the ground floor with a canal view close to the garden which was a big bonus. Gardens in hotels and spacious rooms... More

We loved our stay at this hotel. While it is not located in the central, we find the area to be particularly charming with lots of history, very quite and pretty safe. Our room was lovely, clean, very comfortable, and we didn't notice any noise. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, we even had... More

Positives : Spacious room , nice breakfast omelette, bacon, cereal, croissant, lot of pastries.Polite staff, near to the train station 15 min walk, nice neighborhood . Has restaurants and bar in the area. Not so crowded. Negatives. Although the site says that is already refurnished they have to do it again. Also the room had Humidity . The hotel is... More

We arrived at the Cannaregio via the canal the reception the team were brilliant, we shown to our room once the formalities were taken care of. The was large, clean and had all the usual items you would expect. The bathroom was a little dated and tired but all very functional. We were there for days and the area around... More

I first reviewed this hotel back in 2007 and gave it a 5* rating. It's still pretty good and would certainly recommend it to anyone. The Cannaregio area although remarkably quiet for Venice is on its way up and since I was here last, there seems to be far more bars and even a couple of new hotels opened in... More

When arrived with my girlfriend on Sunday morning we were greeded by a lovely concierge who was very helpful in telling us everything there was about venice and eager to please us by attempting to book a restaurant for us. I should have realised that her surprise that it only took us 30 minutes to walk from the main carpark... More

The only good point is the location (quiet and near the train station). But please consider: I ask for some food without gluten at breakfast (for my girlfriend, she is celiac), the receptionist says "yes, of course" but NOTHING was for her at breakfast. Air conditioned starts every time you go out of the room and the heaters didn't work.... More

We have been here for the last 3 years and still have no complaints about this place. It suits us very well that it is in a quiet and functioning local neighbourhood, and has some excellent local Osterias. If you want to be in the midst of the main attradtions such as Piazza San Marco, this may not be the... More

This hotel is a pretty long distance from the things you'll want to see, and a 10 minute walk to the water bus, whose stop for the hotel is near the end of the line. Worse is that the hotel acknowledges that their address is not recognized by Google Maps or any other GPS, so don't expect to find the... More

Friendly staff, excellent location, quiet loft room with modern detailing mixed with a historic structure. This is my second stay, and I would choose it again. If you want to explore the length of Venice but be far away from the crowds, be nearby the wonderful restaurant terraces on the Fondamenta, and be a short 20 minute walk from the... More
