We had a suite here in May. This was part of our group tour. Room was large, windows opened to show the canal, and boat traffic. Travelled by water taxi to other parts of Venice. Service was good, friendly front desk staff. Breakfast was very good, with bacon being cooked to western tastes (well done). Plenty of food, good number... More

Located in a hip and trendy part of Venice, this hotel is very comfortable although some of the furniture and fixtures are showing their age (although while we were there building work was underway to replace bathrooms). The communal areas are beautiful - we particularly enjoyed the courtyard garden for sitting in the evenings. Staff were all very helpful and... More

if you have a meeting to attend, or bags to carry while you visit places, it would be hard to carry them over the small bridges to get to the ferry ride boat stations station. on foot, it is a bit difficult to get to this hotel, the boat dropped me far, and then i had to carry my heavy... More

I stayed here years ago just after it opened and it was excellent, I don't think it was Eurostars back then. This recent trip, not too much had changed and wear and tear is certainly showing in a number of areas as other reviewers have said. That said it's still a good place to stay. Well located away from the... More

Hotel was clean and comfortable, welcoming drink were nice bonus. Staff was really friendly and helpfull, they made as feel really welcome there.... More

Truth be told, the hotel per se was not that bad (apart from the broken shower wall & paper thin covers). However, I would stay again or recommend due to the area being perhaps Venice's most run down, deserted and of shady character. We are convinced we heard a gunshot on Saturday night. Close to Jewish Ghetto and San Alvise... More

We stayed at the Residenza Cannaregio in March 2014 and was bowled over by the charm and quaintness of this hotel. The hotel was extremely clean and tidy and room in which we stayed was spread over two floors, beautiful. The staff were extremely helpful and had a great knowledge of the area which they are more than willing to... More

I have stayed with this hotel before and this is my second time with them. As usual standard room, very helpful staff. If you need to get something, you need to walk for approx 8 - 10 mins to get to have breakfast/ dinner and shopping area (not central shopping area) Approx 15mins from the main train terminal to the... This hotel was well situated in Venice with little restaurants and shops located close by. The rooms were clean and well maintained and the outside seating area a nice place to relax in the evening. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. The staff weren't particularly welcoming but we found that generally the way with the locals. (We must... More

We really liked this hotel - it was clean, modern, and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. However, do not use Google maps to get walking directions - you'll never get there! Buy a good street map of Venice and you'll get there from the train station in about 15 minutes. Our room was a two-story family room overlooking the canal.... More
