Stayed here for 3 nights on level 3. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to rialto bridge and st marks square. The room is a little old, dated and dark, but it was adequate. There are lifts in the hotel, which was a relief, as we had very heavy suitcases and were dreading the stairs. The breakfast... More

I can not say enough about this hotel. I stayed here with my blind husband for 4 nights and our first interaction upon arriving was with Frederika, who welcomed us to the hotel, showed us the layout and directed us to our beautiful room, which was furnished with blue brocade walls and furnishings, two terraces overlooking a small canal where... My partner and I stayed here at the end of April for a first time visit to Venice. We found the hotel a few minutes walk from St Marks Square . It is a little gem in the heart of the city everything is close by , room was quite large and clean, every floor has its own breakfast room... More

Myfamily just returned from a trip to Italy during which we stayed three nights at the Ca Del Campo. We were lucky enough to be assigned two bedrooms, connected by a small entryway, on the first floor, right behind a small sitting area out front. Our grown children thus got their own room, and we had a "living room" in front... More

This little boutique hotel is a comfortable, clean, and charming option for touring Venice. It's a short walk off St. Mark's Square and also conveniently located for using the vaporetto, or water bus, at the Rialto Bridge. Located in a 400-year-old building, like most of Venetian buildings, the interior has been fully refurbished. Our room had slanted ceilings, exposed beams,... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and I believe our experience was a lot different to others because we got placed on the first floor instead of the fourth. Therefore, I can only comment on what we experienced. When we first arrived, you had to use the intercom to be invited up. The reception told us to... More

Just came back from this hotel (literally last night). It's in a great location- right near the San Marco Plaza and the Rialto Bridge (in different directions). Rooms are a bit dark, possibly to give it that romantic feel- I stayed alone on the 3rd Floor. But even the smaller rooms have a certain charm and are perfectly habitable for... More

absolutely cosy and friendly hotel in the very center of Venice. Friendly staff and affordable. Clean and air-conditioned rooms, very quiet. Will definitely come a second time, also breakfast is good compared to italian standards

We stayed for a 3 nights at the Ca' del Campo Hotel and it was excellent. The Location was very good once we finally managed to find it. We had a lovely big room on the 4th floor which is where the reception was. The only negative thing I would say about the room was a very noisy fridge was... More

Great location location location. Just 3 min walk to San Marco plaza, 6 minute to Rialto bridge. Rooms are large with good beds, great big baths, plenty of hot water. This is a clean hotel in a great spot. Plenty of bars restaurants in area, food market just 5 minutes away. Hotel was 30 to 40% less than other hotels in... More

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
